Wow, that clip was impressive. Perfect except for a couple things, I would have made a couple cuts, making it a bit more of a streamlined prologue (the bounty hunter flying up to the window, the guy looking at the droid, etc.) but I understand if it interferes withe the musical timing, which was excellent. The other is the Voice Over background noise. That could really break the edit for me.

^ That would make it a lot more OT. It would just be a shame to lose the awesome John Williams battle score.

Yeah, that happened to me a couple times. Just be patient It'll work eventually.

The music worked well. The only thing that bugged me was that the video seemed sped up. But I'm sure that won't be final. I really like the Duel of the Fates idea. Can't wait to see how it works out.

@Anchorhead The original star wars radio drama is probably my favorite object in my star wars collection. I've still not yet read the Han Solo adventures but they're definitely on my list for when I have time. I didn't really like Splinter or the original star wars novelization (also written by Alan Dean Foster) maybe Its just his writing style or the fact that splinter was written to be a low budget sequel to star wars. It just didn't rub me the right way.

I didn't think this would be done for a while.

Definitely going to check this out.

Will you be using the music from the trailers in the actual edit?

Will there be drastic changes to the story? What do you think the approximate length of the edit will be? I'm very interested after these trailers.

Yeah I liked that too. you can't go wrong with anything by Brian Daley.

I consider anything that Lucas isn't heavily involved in as EU.

However the current EU didn't start until Heir to the Empire.

I just finished Red Harvest. I thought it was okay but not nearly as good as Death Troopers.

I also enjoyed all of the special features. I liked the alternate Vader/Luke battle. But I see why you left it.

I think I prefer this equally to the theatrical version but for different reasons obviously.

I actually meant Dark Forces Audio Dramas in the first post. I always get the title mixed up with dark empire.

I like Dark Empire as well but it got kinda irritating after the first installment. (I've only listened to the audio versions) Boba Fetts voice was really lame. and bringing back the emperor was a bad decision in my opinion.
