Finally Got Rid of My 2004 DVD's...
Time
I didn't like any of the fighting in the PT. Looked... goofy. And it was boring. They kept twirling around... I thought these guys were supposd to be more like samurai and less like colorguards. In the OT you can have an extended battle scene that works. Because, although it's a sci-fi/fantasy movie, it focuses on the realistic part of it. You can actually imagine that this might be possible. And the people fighting are all real people, not just mindless clones and silly robots. PT just goes over-the-top with Jedi superpowers. All the fights are to... over-stylized. And 80 year old men shouldn't be doing flips, no matter how powerful they are. It's silly looking.

Anyway, back to the lava planet, I was reading on theforce.net that a bunch of people thought ROTJ should end at the same place, right back on the lava beach. And the Vader should die the same way he was "born". Thereby proving that they're all idiots.

Shadow of the Empire (book)
Time
I didn't read this book all that long ago. But I've forgotten most of it... I remember the green guy hitting on Leia and the good guys blowing something up at the end... Oh, and Dash did something and then died. I think he was in space, but I don't remember what they were doing...

It was my first EU book, and I thought it was alright. But... the game was better.

OT.com = TFN?
Time
Yeah. And things the 500 page topic talking about how great Ian McDiarmid was in the movies.

And then there's thing like this... It's by a guy called 'darthsith19':

I was reading the best moment in AOTC thread today and I wondered to myself 'What is the worst moment in AOTC?'

I really can't think of one...

Holy shit.

EDIT: Just found this. Lost the page, so I forgot who wrote it:

5 out of 6 Movies had Bad Acting Skills. the Exception was AOTC.

I'm pretty sure none of these people have seen AOTC...

I was just looking at the TFN forums... I don't know how to describe that place. Everyone there's a little f***ed up. I see a lot of 400+ page discussions trying to justify some simple mistake so that it fits in with the story. I didn't see one person bring up, "Uh... maybe GL just didn't think this through all the way". Bam! Problem solved. End of discussion.

And what's worse is that they all accept the PT as part of Star Wars. I'm sure a lot of you do, too. But no one I talk to considers it to be a part of the saga. It's garbage, plain and simple. But they seem to think complete ignorance is the true sign of a fan... Sometimes plot holes are just plost holes.

Well, I'm off to flame them until I get banned.

That's what I've been trying to do. Planning to fill them up with Darth Editous' cuts... I just can't watch the new Jabba scene or the ROTJ ending again. Everytime I want to watch SW I remember little moments like that and lose all desire to watch them. I'll be glad to be rid of them.

The "ADigitalMan Special Editions" DVD Info and Feedback Thread (Released)
Time
I just found out about these edits today from the SW Wikipedia site (for various reasons, I just started getting back into Star Wars). Anyway, I was really excited to hear about the edits, and even more excited after hearing all the great reviews (how they managed that, with the material they had, I can't even comprehend). But, I haven't been able to find episodes two or three on any torrent site. Any chance I could get someone to make a copy for me? Or possibly point me in the direction of another torrent site?

If something's changed in the last twenty pages, sorry. I got excited and skipped it.
