Star Wars: OTRD83
Time

What is OTRD83?

OTRD83 is my edit of Return of the Jedi. It is like my Unaltered Cut A New Hope but this edit is mostly based on OTD83 and 4K83.
Name OTRD83 comes from:
Original Trilogy Restored & Despecialized 1983. Every clip which is taken from 4K83 is color-corrected. Every OTD83 clip is edited to match 4K83 color-corrected clips. The film video was edited by me and my friends. We also noticed 9 Special Edition pictures and sound effects in 4K83. We immediately cut them out and replaced them with 2006 Bonus DVD clips.

All Sources
2020 Blu-ray Edition
Disney+
Harmy’s Despecialized Edition v3.0
4K83
OTD83
2006 Bonus DVD

30% of this version comes from Disney+ and 2020 Blu-ray Edition.

We expect you to own an official release of Return of the Jedi before watching!!

Star Wars: Unaltered Cut (Fanedit)
Time

What on Earth is Unaltered Cut?

Unaltered Cut is my “Despecialized” Edition of Star Wars A New Hope. All of the footage is from 2006 Bonus DVD turned to 2K. Sorry, I also have my limits, the film is not 2K, and I forgot to turn some scenes to 2K. But I hope it’s just fine to you. I started working on this on March 2017. And finally, after 6 years of work, the film is finally complete. I did this because Harmy’s Despecialized Edition and 4K77 had still some issues. And they still do. I am pretty sure there are issues in my version too but I tried my best to fix all. I am not sure if I do similar edits of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi but A New Hope is now out.

How to get?!?!?

If you have legal access to Star Wars movies via Disney+, Blu-ray, Bonus DVD or 2004 DVD, private topic me. I will be giving you the link to Drive and you can download it there.

Just like every other fanedit, this also is only for educational purposes and is not legal and official version of Star Wars A New Hope. I allow every Star Wars comparison profile to use footage from my versions to compare. Have a great day! : )

Star Wars - Remaster Edition V2.0
Time

WHAT IS REMASTER EDITION?
Remaster Edition is our fan-edit of Star Wars Original Trilogy (Prequel Trilogy Remaster Edition coming sooner or later)
Remaster Edition V1.0 used mostly the teathrical versions. But I used a 35mm 720p film print as a template. So few days ago, I used the Special Editions as templates and did the changes.

SOURCES
Disney+ 4K Edition
2011 Blu-ray Edition
Return of the Jedi fanedit by IlFanEditore
2006 Bonus DVD “GOUT”
2020 Blu-ray Edition
1997 Special Edition (outdated, color correction by me)

CHANGES

All movies

End credits restored
“A News Corporation Company” text removed from 20th Century Fox intro (The Empire Strikes Back doesn’t include the 20th Century Fox intro)
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away… has been updated by a new font
Color changes

A New Hope

Stormtroopers might ask for reinforcements
Beru’s lines have been restored like they were on the teathrical versions
Sunset scene is now the Disney+ version
Removed the issue of “Luke Skywalker ghost”
Death Star explosion updated
Added sun when the X-wings come from the Rebel base on Yavin 4.
Yavin Prime updated
Death Star colors updated
Cut some of Luke Skywalker’s moves
Greedo scene updated by making the explosion shorter and restoring “Ma klounkee”
Lightspeed effect updated
Because the Millennium Falcon Luke training is from 2011 Blu-ray, the lightsaber is white (Yes, white since I updated the colors and the green effect is gone)
Silent lines have been made louder

The Empire Strikes Back

Color timing errors on snow have been fixed (the snow is back to be white)
Wampa arm issue fixed
Han Solo’s shadow “vest” restored
Restored Luke’s scream when he falls from the platform where he fought Darth Vader
(actually The Emperor’s scream. It was there in 1997 Special Edition but was muted in 2004 DVD)
Again, like in Remaster Edition v1.0, Luke’s line “Now all I gotta do is find Yoda… if he even exists” has been edited by muting “if he even exists” because Mark Hamill didn’t say that and Luke’s lips are not moving.
Original wampa scene restored with color fixes
Cave Vader lightsaber updated
R2-D2 beeps are now louder
Some of Yoda’s lines muted

Return of the Jedi

Movie name changed to The Return of Skywalker (This is because many people think the title is about Luke Skywalker, but it’s only about Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader)
Opening crawl updated
Darth Vader’s eyebrows removed
Darth Vader’s “NOO!” replaced with Revenge of the Sith “NOOO!”
Lapti Nek restored (with Special Edition picture)
Jabba’s palace door is again changed to look bigger
The opening scene updated (Actually I did not do the changes, they were borrowed from IlFanEditore’s fan-edit)
Celebration in other planets are on the movie but the Ewok party is original footage (Music is gone, replaced with The Phantom Menace’s ending scene music and a victory song)
Added some footage from Rogue One to battle of Endor
Force lightning colors are back to be like they were on 2006 Bonus DVD (the scene is from Disney+ Edition)
Explosions now include very bright light
Death Star now tries to fire before it is destroyed

HOW TO GET
If you have legal access to Star Wars like from Disney+, Blu-ray, Bonus DVD or DVD, contact me and ask for links : )

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN REMASTER EDITION V1.0
The files from Google Drive will be deleted in Friday, September 22. You CAN save them to your computer if you want and want to have them.
