I don’t know if you guys picked up on this but when I held Rey prisoner at the Starkiller base I liked her especially when I tried to rape her mind and it backfired and that’s why I didn’t want to kill her and teach her the ways of the force instead and I bet she got attracted to me as well because well why didn’t she kill me? And why did she just go ahead and just put FN-2187 in the friend zone? Stockholm syndrome works every time 😉

Same. I think it’s because the films were so ingrained in my mind before I ever had romantic feelings that my asexual childhood feelings toward slave Leia have remained all the way to my adult life.

So to me, the outfit is just another way Jabba’s making her uncomfortable.

I think this nails it for me as well. I never saw Leia in a sexual light, even in the bikini.

Convincing a girlfriend to wear that outfit would be really weird to me. But then, bringing anything like that into the bedroom doesn’t make any sense to me.

I hope they don’t do that to Rey.

What are you guys saying? I thought TFA was way better than the prequels like heck it was better then SPECTRE which was my second most anticipated movie of 2015 and honestly I say this movie is just as good as ESB which is the best movie in the OT.

Well nothing to talk about here than accept what we can’t talk about which is pretty stupid if you ask me. Anyways I refuse to go on the spoilers thread until after I have seen the movie because I don’t want anything ruined for me although we already know the Rebels are going to get the Death Star plans and we know that the Galactic Empire will fall until eventually my First Order will be going up against the Resistance so I guess really the only spoilers we have to fear is Episode VIII and IX and the other standalone movies. Although one spoiler Donald Trump is in Rogue One.

I’m gonna have to agree with you here. Trailers are spoilers, and they should be discussed in the spoiler thread.

Then you can pretty much lock this thread up because there is zero to talk about a movie that no one knows nothing about. What are you looking to find in this thread then? The trailers haven’t spoiled anything yet you wouldn’t know in December before seeing the movie.
Oh and spoiler alert: they manage to steal the plans.

Non-spoiler threads become less and less useful as the release date gets closer and closer. No one was using this thread until Ben bumped it.

Once again my bad anyways I’m staying away from the spoilers thread until after Rogue One comes out and I have seen it although in my opinion there’s not much to spoil.

I remember when one of the theatres in my area had the seven movie marathon but I didn’t bother because 1. The PT sucks monkey balls and 2. The only version of the OT that was being played was the “Special Edition” so I only bothered to see TFA in the cinema. If in 2019 and they do a nine movie marathon I will see the OT if it’s the unaltered versions but I will definitely for sure see VII, VIII and IX.

As I said before there will probably be cheering and clapping for all the new characters this time around in Episode VIII.

I remember when I first went to TFA I was dressed up as a Jedi and I was waiting in line hoping that this would not be another TPM and thank heavens it wasn’t. I heard a lot of fans say that it’s the new version of ANH, honestly I don’t care as long as it wasn’t a rehash of TPM. Anyways I remember everyone in the audience cheered when the Millennium Falcon came on screen and Han and Chewie etc. Well after getting introduced to all the new characters I bet everyone will cheer for them in Episode VIII. I know I will for when Finn comes on screen because out of all the performances of the “good characters” I liked John Boyega’s the most, than I obviously loved Ben Solo (AKA Kylo Ren) as the villain I thought he was just brilliant and I remember people complaining about how whiny his character was but than I would just compare his whinyness to that of Hayden Christiansen’s. Anyways I can’t wait to see everything progress in Episode VIII.

Honestly I want to see a fan edit of The Force Awakens with the scene with me entering inside my fathers ship for the first time in a long time edited back in it makes even a hardened villain such as myself cry.

I’m glad there will be absolutely no connections between the anthology films and the sequel trilogy. This is a Star Wars movie not a Marvel movie.

Hmm well it sucks at the moment that I don’t yet have a computer to at least view these on so I’m stuck watching the older letterboxed 95 VHS tapes until than, well either that or the "completely nonsense re-release of a re-release of the so called “special edition” on blu-ray.
