I am happy with what I am doing. I searched for a picture of hoth and none I found looked like hoth did in the movies so I went with my tweaked red moon. I said I am still making minor adjustments. 3. Adywan did please all of us in this thread. Why do you think we're all supporting him? Sure he originally meant to make it for himself but most people like it more than the SE and GOUT.

1. I made this poster in support of his project, Adywan doesn't have anything against support. It isn't like I am Janskeet saying I am gonna make my own version every single day.
2. It is only half assed to you. I like it and I am not going to do shit just for the sake of your opinion though I respect your critique. But you shouldn't be a snob.
3. Your tutorial is for gimp peeps. I will not use gimp. sorry I paid to much for photoshop to use anything else.
4. Alot of people were snooty about some changes. He made the purist version for those people. I for one loved it and it will always have its place next to my dvd player.
5. I actually listened to some of your helpful tips. But since you find it amusing to bash me I am thinking twice.
6. You would be more helpful if you weren't so misanthropic. After all I did it for fun not for any profit.
I am keeping my cool. If there was anything I said that may have sounded insulting I didn't intend for it to. I enjoy your dvd covers as well as anyone elses who will take the time to do them.
2. It is half assed. Plain and simple. I've been doing this far too long to accept some have limits at graphic design and some are more talented. You can do better, and you will do better. You just need training. If you saw my original stuff you would laugh at me.
3. Gimp is free so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm not saying don't use PS, I'm saying learn how to use the GIMP and then move on. That's the first step in the tutorial and the first step to getting better if you actually want to.
5. I'm not bashing you. It's constructive criticism. You want to get better? You're gonna have to take these kinds of comments. Wanna know what kind of comments I was getting when I first started out? "OMG Ass-Man, JUST DIE!" "That's the crappiest thing I've ever seen" etc. Those kinds of comments make you strive to become better. If you are made to believe you're doing A+ work from the beginning, how do you plan on getting better?
6. Just because you don't do something for profit doesn't mean you should go into someone else thread and go "HEY LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!! I MADE THIS STUFF AND IT'S FOR ESB!!!" Now before you call me a snob again and say I posted my covers, I posted covers that people would realistically consider using.
Finally, you are not keeping your cool if you totally shut out constructive criticism and after calling me a snob, yes you did come across as insulting. I do appreciate the compliments but when I try to help you don't have to get so upset or ignore it completely. Seriously, keep posting your own art, and by all means learn on your own or with a tutorial but make your own Fan Art thread or something because I think I speak on almost everyone behalf when I say it's getting annoying.
