STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

If a moderator won't do it, I will.

EVERYONE STFU ABOUT MONEY SENT AND MONEY SPENT!

Ady said he was short on cash for the project, and it was your call to donate or not. If you donate, no matter how much you would like to add conditions, when it comes down to the end of the day, you can't enforce shit, so sit down and shut the fuck up.

Make a donation and leave it at that. No refunds, no complaining. You should be smart enough to consider every outcome surrounding the donation - ex: what it will be used on, how it will be used, the finished product, etc.

And even if the Wampa scene doesn't turn out the way everyone expects, too bad. Look at it this way, you gave ady the materials and he had the opportunity to try something new and learn some new skills - be happy for that.

And honestly if people are going to think "A-Man's just saying that cause he's donating like a sheep" - screw you, because first of all I don't have money to donate - I'm in debt from Film School, slowly paying off debts with scholarships and hopefully a new part time job - if I had excessive amounts of money to not only pay for my productions but also ady's, I would do it in a heart beat. Ady has shown tremendous passion and dedication to this and your donations can compliment it. If you don't want to make a donation, then don't. If you do, great. But think first before you click "Send" over at PayPal because even if ady might give it back (which I wouldn't), you can't expect an apology or a refund because that's not how donations work.

And please, I implore other posters that if further issues with donations arise amongst posters, ignore them and let ADY (or a Mod, accordingly) address the issue.

Yeesh. It's amazing how so many people can look at the words "i won't be taking any suggestions for changes/ fixes" and interpret them to mean "now eagerly accepting suggestions for changes/fixes."

That being said, is it a bad thing that this news excites me about ten times more than the official Star Wars Saga on Blu-Ray announcement ever did?

Except that I was making a suggestion to a change which I know ady is probably already considering because of the reactions to the music in the duel.

TRON: LIBERTY *** QUICK UPDATE *** (* unfinished project *)
Time

I'll be doing that as well.

What I plan on doing is this:

Reworking the opening sequence to match Legacy.

Tightening up the editing.

Rescoring the film to match Legacy (as well as some unique electronic pieces for this one)

Adding in some basic effects (flares, a new derez scene similar to Legacy's)

Adjusting the contrast and colour of Tron to be closer to Legacy.

Adjusting the sound effects to be closer to that of Legacy.

Star Wars: Renascent *** NOW AVAILABLE!!! ***

Done.

In terms of the digital copy, here's what we're looking at:

Video: 720x480, 3712kbps Data Rate, 4000 bitrate, 23 frames per second

Audio: Stereo, 44Khz sample rate, 195 kbps bitrate

The reason I chose that is because all my digital copies are at those settings. It's the smallest file size, and even Mac's can play WMV through VLC or even quicktime (with Flip4Mac).

Does anyone know how to add non-dvd files to a DVD Film? (If I want to add the labels and digital copy to the special features disc)

Yeah I saw that one. I wouldn't go that far.

See the reason the grids are so different is because they're different systems, so I wont be doing heavy CG work. However, I am in talks with a few people for a new title sequence. Most of the work I am doing are a redoing the effect where Flynn is sucked into the grid and adjusting lighting/colour as well as up dating sound effects and using music similar to as well as directly from Tron: Legacy. I've made a thread over in the Non-Star Wars Edits forums.

In news related to the edit:

I've finished the render - I just need to burn them and ship them out. Ripplin, you can expect the DVD before February - probably Mid-January.
