the ending you are referring to is the european (at least saw in France) ending. I have the french Laserdisc with it and I saw it in theaters back in 1991.

I just saw the dvd Jonno sent me last week. Great work on the menus and except for the Yaphett Kotto itw which is not very interesting

, the rest is awesome.

I already had the Giger's documentary but the rest is unseen here in France. So congratulations for this package of rare stuff about Alien.

I want some other alien Appendix discs

and the hidden feature is great

there is a official dvd from Warner in France, with an english track (without subtitles) and the film is in 1.85:1 aspect ratio, 4X3 Mode

the american version is available in France, where I Live. Anamorphic 2.35 dvd with an english track. It is a mistake of the dvd company, because here in France, it is the european cut (with the fairy tale ending) that was shown in theaters, in VHS and Laserdisc.

The dvd is just wrong
