OK whatever.

If you want to get up in the middle of the movie and switch discs, that's fine with me. All I'm saying is, there's no reason to not burn a dual-layer disc or even have a DL burner at this point. I won't be making single-layer versions of my stuff. If anyone out there has done that, it's on them but I certainly don't want it.

I am not asking for a single layer dvd, thanks God. I will definitely find a friend of mine with a dual layer dvd burner to burn the file

This is a re-edit of footage from original "Space 1999" shows to recreate the type of action and adventure storys we seem to remember from childhood, but somehow does not realy exist when re-viewing the episodes on DVD today. This is a labor of love, and is being done as a kind of homage to the Telemovie format of the 70's and 80's.

as a Big fan of this show, I am curious to see this

Sorry to disagree but you are wrong. Porco rosso was released in theaters in france, on June 1995 by Studio Canal. Jean-Pierre Dionnet bought two films from Ghibli at that time, Porco Rosso and Totoro. Totoro was directly broadcasted on Canal + in 1998.

proofs here : Porco rosso in France and Totoro in France

the deal between Ghibli and Disney was only concluded in 1999. And The first Ghibli film released in france under the Buena Vista Banner, was Princess Mononoke on January 2000.

For an exemple, when they have distributed "Porco Rosso" in France (I don't remember the year), this Ghibli anime has won (in term of amount of tickets) against the Disney animated of the moment (I don't remember which one). Since this time, every Ghibli movie have been distributed only between two Disney movies...

it is not that simple. When Porco Rosso was released in theaters in France, the film was owned by Studio Canal (Canal +) and not Buena Vista. Now the movie is part of the ghibli / buena Vista deal and will be re-released on dvd next april.

here is the first DVD released in France (by studio canal) and the new one (from buena Vista) in two editions
