Well i dont think OT used that way (PT do that many times that trick- TMP with the coruscant ships or ROTS with padme's apartment-). Celebrations were SE additions with PT feeling in them as well the flybys

There is already all the cutscenes in an avi. The only issue i found was the contrast levels wasnt too good.

Well i like to have them in proper quality ,even i wish desperately for HD. ;)

It seems that the rebels not only upgrade the Xwings to each movie but it seems to make them bigger lol.

Also note how much detail is lost in wedge's face with all that orange.

I agree! i dont know if that fits to ewoks but certainly fits to wookies/kashyyk.

the death star debris was was an abandoned mockup i was making considering after the poor explosion i added small meteorites burning into the atmosphere (see Deep impact)

I had point that vader when walking down the stairs he holds the saber and its on(shadow) even the rotoscopers wanted not to show it ignited.

Like i said a good scene is that vader force saber throws and summons in the air. He is vader after all :D

It would be cool. And they wouldn't have to be "How are we gonna do that?" Wedge and Lando are 2 of some of the greatest pilots in the galaxy. It would make the empire look like they are actually trying to protect it. Great idea. Mockup?

How about instead of the boring fully exposed reactor replace/add something more impressive and the rebels have to maneuver more in there.

I was thinking something like the warp machine from the Contact movie.

Those rings could turning around the core that provides energy and an impressive money shot.

Just one suggestion - where the window is, and where the Death Star surface is, I think there should be a small hint of sunlight coming from the sun on the other side of Endor

Well true, but i left it "moodless" because im toying with the idea. I will do some sunrise shots someday later.

I did a short time restoration in a star wars deleted scene with the way you said.

Its really time consuming and its better to use other technicks that combine AE and PS together.

Instead of the controlled explosives at least show that vader hit a specific pylon(s) and cause the damage and after the remaining pylons will brake from the weight.

Also if you are a lightsaber cutter fetishist maybe add this.

I checked the next shots. it can be done only with 2d elements and with clever cut we avoid to show it falling down.

As you noticed, im supporting the enhance of the blue panels with some more bright color and slight glow, to add some variety and life to that set.
