What good is realistic lightning in the PT, or any of the "realistic" CG, when it's dramatically impotent? I'd take the opening sequence of Star Wars over that any day.
Many OT FX aged well and set the bases for the PT or the decent FX in our days. But not all! I guess we point the not so good ones right?
I agree that ROTS opening is jaw dropping but it hasnt anything memorable like the opening of ANH.

Purhaps. Dooku had Blue lightning, Palps have purlpleish. Either way i think the ROTJ lightnings need a revamp :)
Plus the purple tones adds a variety to other electric beams we see. Now if you want to switch the purple ones to the simple and blue ones to the force, be my guest :)

Because in ROTJ the lightning effect is over used IMO and for continuity sake i replaced the lightning with ROTS's style to R2's one.

Well i tried to put a window there. the only you can see will be mountains and some part of the mountain that the base is in. not something radical or look good enough. That doesnt mean that goes the same with the jabba's palace windows mockups ^_^ lol.

In fact Monrville id like to see how can you handle some bespin shots especially the one with leia's apartment window. How it can be opened and how at the same time we can keep continuity. Thank god ady will replace it with new matte but for brainstorming sake lets see some roughs before go to mockups ;)
