I know how Ady wants the things remain hidden and not all revealing in dagobah.

I like his approach.

Still i enhance slightly the matte so it not look like a painted wall. + a more bright light so the eye locate more easy the fallen X wing

Plus i made dagobah planet more green (from deleted scene from ROTS), so is not looking like Hoth.

We see an indication of green after luke departs from dagobah and going to cloud city, so why not.

Last when the X-wing enters the atmosphere of dagobah i slight open the fog to have some more depth. nothing fancy.(also taken from ROTS deleted scene).

Id love to see an alien egg from ALIEN movie as an easter egg!

PS Cs4 could have a lot of improvements. Still is too unstable , laggy and dificult to use with all that tab shit ans animated crap.

Plus i hate when you navigate the canvas is overlapping the tool panels.

Cs3 to the death.

The deathstar should look like moon. so only light and some minor details should be visible.

plus the perspective we supposed to see the bottom of it and the shield dish should always point it.

I like your approach of total black it adds a dangerous silence but it lacks of dramatical atmosphere.

Same with the planet.

 

I ll try to do some mockups sometime later :)

I thought about holograms but i thought is too far. Still I vote + if Ady decide to do them.

Also I know sometimes the sourse is the ESB HD. So a bigger screen that fills more space would be cool.

We like to see our movies in HD and in big plasma screens why not mr Vader?

You may want to also blacken the holes on all 6 guns where the lasers come out (the second shot isn't as bad, but the first one you can tell they are a little "model-ly" in how solid the barrels look).  Also, is it just me, or is the head model a little "rough around the edges", at least in that first shot (notice the area right above the 2 lower guns and how the front face plate with the window seems to be angled/sliding down to the left compared to the rest of the head)?  Another thing could be to add some texturing to the head to help increase the scale.

To add to the "more lasers" issue, maybe you could have the upper side guns shoot lasers along with the longer barreled side guns (maybe make them more like mini-guns for close-in defense [you could even have the small gun barrels "spin" when they fire off a laser burst], thus all the long range shots retain the 4 laser firing rate)

Yes! Blacken the gun holes will be a big up! I like the idea of some crew indication if the shot is long enough so the eye can see them.

What do you mean with the texturing?
