That's mine, Frink. You were wearing it at my place on poker night last Thursday and forgot to take it off, remember?
The missus and I watched Red last night. Man alive, I can't remember the last time I had such a good time watching a movie. IMO, this movie strikes a perfect balance of action and comedy. Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.
My top three favorite movies:
1. V for Vendetta
2. The Fifth Element
3. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)

No, it's stupid that they felt it necessary to identify this particular YT-1300 with the Millennium Falcon. The X-Wing cameo in AOTC wasn't stupid, but itwould've been if Lucas had specified that it was the same X-Wing that Luke would fly some day. It's stupid because it's unnecessary universe-shrinking.

Correct, unfortunately "canonically", it is THE Millennium Falcon.Akwat Kbrana said:
YT-1300, if I recall correctly...

I'm sure they made more than one of the model that the falcon was (I'm blanking on what it is)
Wow. That is remarkably stupid.

You spilled your popcorn. How do you like them apples?
It's from "Our Mrs. Reynolds," a (rather brilliant) episode of Firefly. Ever seen it?
Thx! :)
Will you please post it here so we can all discuss? Maybe we could get Adywan's input.
Oh man, I've been wanting to use this .gif for a long time. With the nearly simultaneous emergence of this idiotic thread and Ghostbusters' moronic Adywan PM thread, I finally have my chance.

I don't you think understood me. This is meant as both a PM to Adywan and open discussion. Adywan said with the internet plan he has, it is cheaper for him to check his messages here than though email. He told me though that it is even cheaper for him to check PMs. He hasn't returned this one yet. I wanted to here your guy's opinion on these questions, but you won't cooperate with me. I have explained this thoroughly 3 times now and you still don't get it. I am not explaining a fourth time.
Let me try to explain it to you. Nobody needs the internal logic or authorial intent of the OP explained to them; we all get what you're asking. What we don't get is (a) why you felt it necessary to ask something like this to the community at large in the first place, and (b) why you failed to take into account the fact that this isn't really the appropriate place to post something like this.
Capiche?
This thread confuses and bewilders me.

But it seems, according to the movies, that no fighter craft actually have them, right?
Ah, but that's where you're wrong!

I would like to hear your guy's opinion on the private message I guess you could say.
Well then, evidently the prevailing opinion is that it isn't exactly "thread material."
What's not clear as day is why you said it...

The wife and I watched Inception last night. Got tired of waiting for the library, so we snagged a copy from Redbox. Extremely fascinating and thought-provoking movie. I'm glad you convinced me to watch it, Xhonzi.
This thread is now about...
Doctors!
