I used to love adventure games and have been meaning to get back into them, why can't you tell use about this one?  Are you some sort of secret beta tester or something.

You know I am still looking for a new game or series where the characters draw me in the way the ones in Mass Effect did.  It's too bad EA ruined Bioware because before that they put out quality games that worked with characters I really liked and their tone was just right for me. Most games are either too light and kiddy or way too dark for my taste, Bioware got the tone just right for me before ME3.  I really miss them, the only other game that strikes just that perfect heroic escapist tone where while still having some dark moments and giving me a fun time is the Fable series, but thanks to my Xbox breaking down I can't enjoy that any more.

DARN IT EA, WHY DO YOU ONLY SEEM TO EXIST TO DESTROY THINGS THAT BRING ME JOY?!!!

"Secret beta tester" is essentially correct... though the game is actually still in alpha stage.

Okay, can't wait for the game to come out so you can tell me what it is.

Have fun! :)

There's more than one game I'm currently testing, actually... and it's already come out. I'll tell more shortly.

In fact, I already have!

I like most of the overall ideas in Star Wars Rebels, but I deplore the lackluster animation quality. Surely Disney has deep enough pockets to make a 3D cartoon look decent?

Pity that 2D animation has seemingly gone with the Dodo to the Land of the Dead.

I'd gladly pay to see a top-quality SW animated film in the vein of 1959's Sleeping Beauty... or the Fleischer Superman shorts... or, heck, even The Curse of Monkey Island.

But you know what would be even better? Doing that nine times.

The SW Saga of 1975: ATM's Take

Who ever said George Lucas was a good writer?

Besides, in the 1974 rough draft, he very clearly stated that Princess Leia Aquilae had auburn hair and blue eyes, while both secondary protagonist Clieg Whitsun and Annikin Starkiller's brother Deak were blond.

Of course, back in the 1970s, GL had a certain amount of flexibility when it came to the appearance of his characters. Han Solo was almost played by a black actor, remember, and the first choice for Obi-Wan Kenobi was actually Toshiro Mifune.

Luke Starkiller himself was almost played by dark-haired Jewish actor Will Seltzer. But Mark Hamill, who turned up almost at the end of the casting sessions, not only had the acting chops; he also fit GL's vision of Luke as a blond Flash Gordon type.

Mind you, this flexibility seems to have evaporated by the time of the prequels.

Watch the making-of documentary on the TPM DVD and you'll see GL pass over a child actor who was clearly the better choice for young Anakin, in favor of the "cuter" (and blonder) Jake Lloyd, who was much worse in terms of flubbing his lines.

That's the peril inherent in trying to find an actor to fit your pre-existing mental image precisely. GL should have remembered the wisdom of his younger self.

Don't be ridiculous.

On another note, I like how the SW Blu-Ray box set at least includes a good chunk of the OT deleted scenes. (Unlike some other big-name Blu-Ray releases I could name.) Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered buying it.

Heck, it's even got deleted scenes which were quite obviously cut from other deleted scenes... although the descriptions in the menus don't make that explicit.
