My thoughts on the State of O-T dot com.

I wish to say that I apologize for calling ABC and Bingowings ass-clowns.   I shouldn't have resorted to name calling.   I'm still going to keep you on ignore.   But I was wrong for resorting to name calling.  I promised myself I wasn't going to do that anymore.    I let my anger get to me.   I still have a long way to go.

No problem.

Apart from the fact some really seem to seek something they will never find in the Off Topic section from this site, I think some of us may have an overdose of each others posts. I had the same problem with DS a few days ago and we finally settled that friendly by pm + ignore. With a little distance now I think he may be not only more clever than I thought, but even more clever than I am.

In the other hand I really think some here are over-estimating themselves seriously.

Oh man.  I leave for two days, and I come back to this?

Everyone in this thread's acting like their shit doesn't stink, but no one's being completely innocent in this.  Everyone (including C3PX, and probably myself) is acting like a bit of an ass toward everyone else.

Why don't we all take a deep breath and think before pressing the "Post Reply" button from now on?

*braces for impact*

You have been totally ignored my poor Chainsaw. Anyway, quoted for your talented eye on this. ;)

I'm justly not pretending to be perfect. That's what you miss, and that's maybe what Warb got wrong from me. However, we say humour is the proper of human nature, so here's why the drawing.

Note that my last post before was - once again - an attempt to bring something else to break the latest chain reaction, and notably to end a discussion that only interested no more than 3 guys, or 2. I can't nothing for you if you stick on the bone.

But if you want someone interesting to post there, who maybe could share interesting thoughts about the topic subject, I'd recommand you try as I did: share a larger thought on the community, the forums, and what it can bring the more positive. Now if you prefer to hold on the "shoot'em up" side of the place, I won't interfere. (I'll just shoot from time to time ;) -

Hehe ! Bingo chose the ultimate right one.

This guy Warb has decided he had a problem with two guys since the beginning and succeeds in building the worst interpretations he wants to make you say, or adress to himself any wrong thing he can imagine. Unfortunately for him, he can imagine a lot.

You'll allow me that little cloud for the day:

On Topic

I don't have thoughts on the state of O-T dot com and for instance watching a few posts back in this thread is like watching the clouds come and go during a day...

What I can tell is the great and unvaluable help I have found through this site for my restoration projects each time I asked for. Material, Technical, knowledge... Very few responses each time but always right the good ones at the right moment, and mostly from persons who use to remain very silent through the forums.

So, all I've got to say is: Thank you O-T dot com.

PS: And thanks for the shoot em up section ! :P

... I would think that they sound too high, (loud?) and noisy !

Lol ! Yes, I think they're both too clear, and even if it brings one more processing session to these files I would suggest you look for calming down this, as this "clarity" also brings much noise. That said, there was not that much work on the Star Wars one which had been made in two days.

But whatever you can do about that, you're welcome to do these ;)

PS: Btw, you probably spotted it missed the SE end of the Rancor sequence on these remasters.

Ten stars out of five for this one, guys.  It's just amazing.  And it breaks my heart a little that you won't be doing this for the other two films.

Thanks a lot for your words.

Ok, a further word on what is about doing the others:

You already know how I feel about that, so I'd add that the restoration of the Empire score was a long process and came through a long dedication to get it perfect as possible. The assembly for this one DVD was then a piece of cake and is as I said before: the cherry on the cake.

In the end I chose to bring one - and not the least - to a level of "excellence" rather to just improve the 3 scores. If you think of all the little things assembled together that make things happen in life, you'll have the right idea of the solid architecture that sustained this one restoration. ;)

... You can understand then I won't decide to make the other ones just to paste these on the films, matter of alchemy.
