Oh I plan to. Solely because it's a samurai flick and it's directed by Edward Zwick (Glory). Not because it's Cruise. In fact, I kinda wish it wasn't him. I can think of a bunch of actors I'd rather see in the role.

I only partially agree on Cruise. He has his moments.

Indiana Jones trilogy, plus some cash and a $30 giftcard for Best Buy. Was thinking of using the last item to buy the X-Men DVD set.

i personally feel that The was one of cruises best preformences, He was Really Really really good in it. the story is great.

I agree with Bossk on this one. I can think of alot of different guys who could have done alot more with that character. I haven't seen the film yet but I plan to tomorrow. I have to get my sister her Bday present. She wants the Silimarilion. I have a copy,but I'm going to be leaving home soon and she wants her own book. I leave for Grand Rapids in Three weeks! Should be cool. Still gotta learn to take quicker showers, do the laudrey, and cook my meals instead of going out to eat all the time.

By the way Bossk, Happy Bday dude! Your only four years older than I am! I was just wondering, how long have you and your wife been married? And how old were you when you got out of the house?

As for actors that could have played Cruise's Character, Sean Bean, Vigo Mortessan, Ewan McGregor, or maybe on a long shot Brad Pitt.

Edward Norton could have pulled it off too.

I officially took up my own full-time residence when I was 22 and in grad school. Had my own apartment for the first two years of grad school and then had roomies for my final year (yes, grad school took me three years instead of just two). then I moved back home for a year when I was 25 to save money for my wedding. Moved out a year later. My wife and I have been married for just over 2 years now.

Oh, and I would have liked Jude Law as Cruise's character. Michael Biehn wouldn't have been bad either. Both are pretty good at playing moody and disillusioned and both can be good with physically demanding roles as well.

well i feel that Cursie did a great job, and i really dont think any of the other actor's would have gond through the hassel that cruise went through to prep fo his character.

I hope he did do a great job and I am going to give him a chance with this movie. Anything to make up for MI:2.
