Neg1, if you didn't receive my reply to the first round of invites is it likely I'll have the same problem when you send out the next round?

What the hell is that and how will I ever sleep tonight?

Isn't that from an album cover?  I don't remember which one.  Something in the 90's I think.

Hi everybody,

We are glad to announce that general admission to the blog is NOW OPEN!

!) Please send one PM to this  address ONLY: Team_Negative1 requesting admission. (Any previous requests, or multiple requests will be ignored)

Also to speed things up, PLEASE include an email.

2) If you only been on this board for a few months, please describe your interest in Star Wars, or a link to the post with that information.

We will take into account the number of posts made, and whether you were a previous member, and if you're involved with a project now.

Don't worry, I'm sure all of you will make it in, and have a great time.

There are some rules and regulations first, and we'll send those to you to agree to. Once we get an email address, we can send you a confirmation with your account name and default password.

Give us a little bit of time to process them, and if there's an issue, again send a PM. We don't need to clog up this thread with notices.

May the force be with you.

Thanks again for your patience.

Haha. Yes, it is disturbing. It's a candy jar.

Oops.  My bad.  :P

By the way, the current post title apparently exceeds the 200 character limit, it wouldn't let me post this reply until I shortened it (on my reply).

Thanks to everyone for their replies.

We will be processing the invites in the order we got them.

Look for a response via PM or email soon.

==================================

ALSO NOTE : PLEASE DO NOT SEND A PM TO the

account - negative1, as they will not be processed.

He is no longer in charge of those.

Thanks again for your patience and consideration,

I did get an invite, though your mailserver rejected my reply because it didn't like the host I sent it from.  (I have changed servers since before, but transparently.)

Just mentioning I'm still interested but can't e-mail back to accept that way.

I've been following this project for months and would LOVE an invite.  Please email or pm how I can sign up.  My apologies if I overlooked that info.  Much appreciated!

UPDATE:

Ok, everyone that sent a PM.

----------------------------------------

1) ONLY A FEW PEOPLE actually included an email.

We sent back replies requesting an email.

If you don't have a working email, you can't get

the rules and regulations to accept.

Once you send that in, you should be good.

2) Don't forget to include some background about yourself

and Star Wars if you are a new member, or haven't posted much.

3) Most of you should be in now.

We understand a few have had issues with the videos, but

there are direct download links for them.

Also, some are having login, commenting or seeing issues

with the posts. We are working on figuring out what could

be causing that.

The majority of users haven't expressed any issues though.

So trying a different browser, or setting compatibility on IE

could fix the problem.

We'll keep the admissions open for awhile, so people that want

to get in, should be able too.

Of course, we'd like to see more comments and requests about

the material, and also, you can Star the posts, and also vote

on other comments, if you feel you don't have much to say,

or that you like other comments.

We can't do all the talking by ourselves. We have a ton of material

and want you to be interested in discussing it.

The upcoming posts will be highlighting the private screening of

the LPP print. This is a great reference, and answered a lot of

our questions about what the print should look like. We think

you'll agree, that this project will have the most true to the

original presentation look, that ANY restoration has seen yet.

Thanks for your patience and consideration.

OK, it's time for a little forum housekeeping.

The rule is strictly one account per user. This means no user may have more than one account ("sock puppets") and also that multiple users may not share a single account.

@negative1: I'm assuming from the formatting of the above post, and some of the account IP addresses, that you posted from the "team_negative1" account. Please do not do this again.

@team_negative1: A new password for your account has been sent to the email address you signed up with. Please keep this password secret and do not share with any other user.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi Mother,

That old account 'negative1', is now invalid, and no longer in use.

Thanks,

I think it

means that we

won't

see anymore

of

everyone's favorite style

of posting.

The above image is from a thread over @ the 35MM Forum of an 80's print of Empire.  Picture was taken off screen from a cellphone.  Just thought it would be of interest.

It probably means that -1 has moved to the Team account, but they'll ignore the one-person-per-account rule.

I know what they mean, guys...I'm questioning the use of the word "invalid."  And why -1 feels the need to use the team account at all.

And if they ignore the rules, they is gonna get banned.

Sometimes I feel invalidated, is that the same as -1's "invalid"?

Also, he's logged in as negative1 right now, so apparently that account is not so invalid after all.

Author

I don't think he means invalid as in not valid, I think he's trying to tell us that the account has fallen ill and, as an invalid, will require constant care.
