I’d love if we got some High Republic merch. There were some shirts on ShopDisney but I haven’t seen anything else. I could go for some posters and figures.

Also, I finished The Fallen Star recently. It’s my least favourite of the three main novels - I thought it felt somewhat incomplete as it constantly refers to Avar Kriss’ mission, while that’s actually seen in the comic series, and it was much more dependent on a reader having knowledge of other entries in the High Republic (such as Into the Dark, which I’ve read, and Out of the Shadows, which I haven’t) than the previous two books. Still a thrilling read though.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Returns with New Episodes - at the official Star Wars website

 

 
‘Six new episodes of the preschool-age animated series are coming to our galaxy, arriving February 14 on Disney+ and Disney Junior. The new episodes complete the Emmy-winning first season, which introduced High Republic-era Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and the adorable Nubs to fans.’

This is aimed at pre-schoolers and young children, but it certainly is something to put on when the grandkids come visiting to keep them occupied. Surprisingly, the first batch of episodes did hold their attention, so I hope these new episodes do likewise.

Plus, a nice way to get them into Star Wars at an early age!

I finally managed to get my hands on this and now have the time to read it:

While I hope The Acolyte does well and adds something of value to the GFFA, I’d also love to see other series based on The High Republic era as well. Whether another live action series, or animation; something like Visions or Tales Of Jedi, or its own dedicated series.

The final part, Phase III, of the publishing project concludes in Spring 2025, so that would be welcome starting point to choose a new THR series on. Or maybe even a news fresh and stylistically different story set in THR era.

For any THR readers on here, is there anything you’d like to see onscreen; characters or stories, events or side quests?
