thanks for the reply. sorry for posting in the wrong area. im using “copyto 5” and when i go to set up the mkv files for burning it states the file is too large (approx 32gb)? does anyone recommend another open source or free burning software in order to burn the files to bd-r?

any help is greatly appreciated.

they should fit just fine on 25GB or larger BD-R. What exactly are you running into issues with?

(Also, this should probably go in the How-To section of the site, where there are some topics that might have answers for you)

i don’t know copy to 5, but from a google search, it looks like you are trying to use software that is meant for burning do a 5gb dvd… not the same as BD (blu-ray disc). Pretty sure that is your problem.

Follow the link i gave you before, they talk you through using tsmuxer to create a blu-ray disk image (iso), and then you can burn that to a BD-R using standard image burning software, such as imgburn

hi thanks for your reply. i had originally started trying to do this project back in january 2016 (almost 1 year ago). but i never really got going back then. i got as far as buying an external pioneer Blu ray burner. the problem back then was simply that life happens. as i got sidetracked with a new job then got a new computer.

so now fast forward to today and im still struggling. heres what ive done so far…

ive downloaded all 3 of the OT films MKV files through jdownloader2.

i also downloaded tmuxer and have tried adding the files and it just keeps saying error…" tmuxer not found". so is there anyway you can tell what im doing wrong?

ps-i even went as far as the next step…i already downloaded and installed IMGburn

thanks for any help you may provide.

have you tried following these steps: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_mkv_to_avchd_for_ps3_and_blu-ray.cfm

when you download tsmuxer, make sure you extract the entire rar, and run the program from that directory (With the other extracted files). It almost sounds like you just ‘opened’ the rar and double clicked on the exe, which would only extract that one file into a temporary directory and run it from there, so of course it can’t find the other files that are still in the rar archive :p

thanks so much Dahmage for all your help thus far. i guess im not exactly sure of what i need to do in order to extract the Rar files from Winrar and get them over into TsMuxer? i also went over to the Afterdawn link you gave me. I read the guide and unless im misssing something i really couldnt find what the proper steps should be???

IE: im starting with harmys DE ESB 2.0 (just because thats the one I had previously downloaded). so when i open Winrar i am able to find the folder called “MD5 1E34878403B05924F71354E961016FCE” where all 41 of the Rar files are located? but i guess i just dont know what the next step should be? do i extract them within Winrar or to my harddrive or do I extract them directly over to TsMuxer? any help is greatly appreciated.

ok im still trying to burn the Despecialized Editions to BD-R but now im really getting frustrated!! I could really use some help…PLEASE!

so ive downloaded all the Harmy MKV files for each film ? what is my very next step?

i thought my next step was to open these files in TsMuxer? …https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ceu5dunbqvuzr0/de sw.jpg?dl=0

so im trying that and its says “tsmuxer not found”… https://www.dropbox.com/s/rdc0pjrh9cv7dz0/tsmuxer JPEG.jpg?dl=0

so i guess my question is, if its not these files then what files should i be opening in TS Muxer?
any help is greatly appreciated!

regards, joey

Fyi: ive also already downloaded TSMuxer and IMGburn

nope, you should select the .mkv file that you already extracted from all those .rar files

Well, assuming it isn’t a win 10 (is that what you are using) compatibility thing, i would guess that you need tsmuxer.exe to be in the same directory as tsmuxer-gui.exe… did you try that?

Thanks again Dhamage…yes im running windows 10 home version? so im still struggling and its really frustrating because im at least somewhat tech savvy???

so heres my main goal…the only thing i want to do is be able to burn each of the 3 DE films to BD-R. and im still really back at step one and cant seem to progress. ive downloaded all the files from the links on Paradox, and the program i used to download them was Jdownloader2. So now that i hjave them downloaded what exactly should my next step be?

ps-when you say Tmuxer needs to be in the same directory ? do you mean the need to be in the same folder?

wow ! thank you so much again Dhamage for your help! and im so sorry because i too did that same search. i guess i just figured that was the same Tsmuxer exe that i had already downloaded? however now i still have a question…

which file or files do i add to tsmuxer or is just the one playable mkv file i have circled (please see link)?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/iso73pn0qfl493f/swharmy1.jpg?dl=0

then once it finishes “muxing” then what are my next steps? do i also need to save meta file?

next step is Imgburn, right?
would it be “write image to disc”?
which file do i add to Imgburn?

as always i appreciate all your help,

regards, joey

That’s the file. Sorry, at this point you are past my personal experience, so all I can do is point you to the guides that I already shared.

If anyone has personal experience with the process, perhaps they can help you.

As I say, good luck ☺️

Thank yous: A big thanks to Dhamage and everyone else as i was finally able to burn my first BD-R of the films. i think the main problem i was having was a had an old or bad copy of TsMuxer. because it seemed to work with no errors as soon as I downloaded it from the link pointed out by Dhamage.
