What would you want to see in a prequels reboot? — Page 3

Guys! Let’s not be like Christians! Let’s all be friends. Peace for the world and watermelons for the living!

I certainly know what I’d like to see in a real-world reboot: a human race without fundamentalists – be they religious or irreligious in nature.

And with that, I’m out of here. As the young’uns today say, “Catch ya on the flip-side”.

In addition to Frink’s remark, what you say here is pretty much what most real Christians want (when taking out the religious aspect of course).

Army of Darkness: The Medieval Deadit | The Terminator - Color Regrade | The Wrong Trousers - Audio Preservation
SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

Christians want every living person to have a watermelon? I’m not saying all atheists do, that’s just me.

No, that’s what they say they want, but if there’s anything remotely positive to come from conflict and war, they’ll go for it 100%. Even if they hear somebody supporting war on the news, they’ll jump on the bandwagon without a second thought.

That’s most Christians today. Not even counting the Christians of the past.

Oh. I didn’t bother with the original post because fan fiction.

Just because something is made by fans doesn’t mean it will suck (though I understand your point of view). I like to think I at least got some stuff right that Lucas got wrong, and I even did serious RESEARCH about religion.

I think most people in real life would qualify as Sith. Since the Christian religion is the most popular, I based the Sith on them.

Christians ironically don’t follow or even read the Bible and used to lead holy wars and violent crusades. The religions that the Jedi are based on are much less violent than Christianity, so I figured that some Jedi would realize how hypocritical the wars and crusades they were partaking in, which would separate the Jedi into peaceful monks and warriors.

Whenever religious people don’t like their religion anymore, they make a new one, so I had the warriors become the Sith.

My Sith Wars are completely realistic and have real-life parallels just like the Rebellion from the original trilogy was based on World War II and the American Revolution. I’m no historian, but I can’t think of a single war where a guy created two armies only to make them fight each other (simplest least convoluted Clone Wars explanation).

tl;dr: You’re a jerk, Frink.

Can I have your permission to frame this?
EDIT: Just read the rest of your posts, can I have your permission to frame everything you’ve ever written?

Because this guy just wants attention, I make a motion of no confidence in this thread.

I don’t think anyone is misunderstanding your points. We just have different opinions. I did read all your posts. No need to be a dick about it.

Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

This Discussion Category is deserted and nothing gets attention, so I put it in General Discussion. Just look for a thread about prequel reboots created by me, BillionaireHobo

I did post that, but there is another reason I posted this thread here and not Script Writing and Rewriting and I even put IN THE FIRST PAGE IN A COMMENT AGAINST YOU(before the debate even started): I wanted to tap into people’s imaginations instead of George’s by thinking about a prequel trilogy where there is no Anakin or Obi Wan or Clone Wars.

Besides, can you blame me? How do you improve your writing by getting feedback if you don’t get any feedback? This isn’t some attention-starved thing like you are making it out to be.

Because Frink is a judgemental guy and people are looking to ban me, I say the religious debate ends now. Stop talking about interesting things and instead make up interesting things. I’ve received enough feedback on my prequels, so be creative and show off your set of prequels!

You have my permission. He asked, Frink. What else do you expect me to say?

Most of us have already seen Frink’s vision of the prequels, and it is wondrous.

I genuinely think your story treatments are very well done, I just don’t know where you were coming from with that tangent.

Wut.

I didn’t start a debate. I said I was atheist then LordHaseo and Dek Rollins started a debate which I participated in. It’s the equivalent of saying a religious person started a debate because they brought up their religion in a topical non off-topic way.

I didn’t blame Frink for anything! I was offended because he was implying I was some attention-starved troll.

Isn’t ending an off topic debate you did not start supposed to be a good thing?

Thank you for complimenting my treatments!
