Weird Vintage Books! Thread.

NOTE: I was told that the New Thread Thread (or the New The New Thread Thread Thread) was now irrelevant because of new management. I THINK that means we now do not need the thread to make new threads. I’m sorry if I got it wrong.

Post the oddest, weirdest, creepiest, bizzarest, and disturbing vintage books here! When I mean vintage books, I mean old books that were NOT made in the 21st century or the late 20th century. As always, have fun! 😃

When’s something gonna happen?

The New Thread Thread was never a necessity in the first place. It just allowed us to decide as a whole community whether people think it’s a good thread idea and primarily to make sure a new thread isn’t created unnecessarily when a similar/same thread exists already. I believe Frink saying it was irrelevant had to do with Jay (creator/owner/admin) giving a long-winded speech on how he doesn’t like that sort of thing even though that’s how this community has built itself.

On Topic:

I grew up with this thing, and it’s still in my house somewhere. (Not terribly weird or creepy, and from 1970, so I guess it might be against thread rules? I just think it’s odd and interesting.)

Army of Darkness: The Medieval Deadit | The Terminator - Color Regrade | The Wrong Trousers - Audio Preservation
SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

Essentially correct.

How would you define “late” 20th century? Because I want to post the existential bleakness that is the Dune movie coloring book.

Well, I remember one where a carpenter or architect (I can’t remember) falls asleep and wakes up old! Also, The Curious case of Benjamin Button is pretty strange. I think the former one was called “The Carpenter’s Slumber” or something.

When’s something gonna happen?
