Damn Bingo I’m so happy for you. I can still send you some software for nothin if need be my friend.

What make is ur screen btw? And are you running this through an AV reciver?

HDMI cables have a variation of what they can proses by a revision no. like 1.4 can now does 4K, any previous HDMI leads do some sort voodoo ship between any hardware.

It’s quite an old Grundig telly but the same problem afflicts people with modern screens and digital projectors. PS3 seems to be particularly susceptible.

I finally picked up Death Road to Canada after seeing plenty of streams of it.

It’s fun. Easy to die horribly in, but fun.

Gran Turismo 6 took forever to patch and upgrade.
It doesn’t look much better than Gran Turismo 4 either.

Ever heard of that spider-man bootleg on the nes? Was there a batman bootleg?

I’m not really enjoying online games anymore. They just make me mad. But for some reason I still play them. I tried uninstalling a game that was making me particularly frustrated, thinking that the break would do me good, but I didn’t even last a whole day. I reinstalled it, played a few matches, and got frustrated.

Is the Spiderman bootleg a hack of Ninja Gaiden? That’s the only one I found.

I just saw a batman bootleg hack of the Japanese version, with extra lives and a level skip code.

I know there’s a ninja gaiden hack that turns it into a deadpool game.

I know this isn’t at all what you asked I just wanted to show off that I know stuff

That’s cool. The bootleg hacking world is ever present.

Hey, what a coincidence, I know stuff too! 😃

Do you have any recommendations on 360 exclusives?

I’m really enjoying my wiiu. Loving the twilight princess remake. And super Mario 3d world is just unreasonably fantastic. I think next I’ll get star fox.

I don’t have any 360 exclusives, but here are some of my recommendations:
Bioshock trilogy (1, 2, Infinite) - a Horror themed FPS, a great chilling story
Transformers: Devastation - an Action beat’em up, in the style of the original 80’s cartoon
Darksiders - an Action Role Playing beat’em up, you play as one of the Four Horsemen

I only have Twilight Princess on the Wii. I’m a sucker for Mario games: classic platformers, 3D ‘platformers’, Galaxy series, Kart series.

I liked 3d World except for the AWFUL music.

Disagree. I mean there is absolutely no conceivable way it was ever going to top Galaxy’s amazing soundtrack. So of course if you go in expecting that sort of beauty it’s disappointing. But for what it was I think the soundtrack fits the game pretty well, and a few of the tunes are quite nice. It’s not an amazing soundtrack, but it’s not awful.

Super Mario Galaxy set an extremely high bar that even a zelda game would struggle to top in this department.

But the twilight princess remake is gorgeous. I have no interest in getting a switch yet because it seems to be more geared towards being a handheld that doubles as a console. I hate handhelds, I barely even touch the gamepad on the wii u unless I have to, I generally just go for the Pro controller.

I’m considering getting the wii u version of Breath of the Wild though.

You haven’t played Galaxy?

Do it.

Do it now. It may even be better than Super Mario 64, and except for a few “novelty” tracks, it features a completely orchestrated soundtrack and it’s fantastic. (Real orchestra, not synth)

Thanks, I’ll check those out soon enough as a little treat once my academic obligations are out of the way for a while. I picked up a 360 with Gears of War 2 and Arkham Asylum, fairly cheaply and whilst I was disappointed that the homebrew scene is nowhere near that of the PS3 and Wii, I’d still like to collect the best of what it has to offer, especially if the versions are superior to the same releases on other machines.

Yes, the Mario Galaxy games are very fun. The music is incredible. I even have an OST of the games.

No problem. Yeah, I’ve also played Gears of War 1 and Arkham Asylum. You should be able to find those games at a cheap price. I usually waited until a game was a few months old, and buy them brand new for half off.
