OOOhhhhhhh.
Now I really can't wait to hear more.
I admit, video game hacks and cheat codes are fun.
However, some times crazy things are more impressive when they don't use traditional hacking or cheat codes. Case in point, (an admittingly glitchy version of) the original Super Mario Bros (with 8-bit graphics but Super Mario All Stars sound) in Super Mario World.

I assure you that this is real. If you have lsnes, an ordinary US SMW rom and this lsmv file, and stop it right after the smw portion ends, you could play it yourself.
edit: The same trick done on real hardware here.

I used to love adventure games and have been meaning to get back into them, why can't you tell use about this one? Are you some sort of secret beta tester or something.
You know I am still looking for a new game or series where the characters draw me in the way the ones in Mass Effect did. It's too bad EA ruined Bioware because before that they put out quality games that worked with characters I really liked and their tone was just right for me. Most games are either too light and kiddy or way too dark for my taste, Bioware got the tone just right for me before ME3. I really miss them, the only other game that strikes just that perfect heroic escapist tone where while still having some dark moments and giving me a fun time is the Fable series, but thanks to my Xbox breaking down I can't enjoy that any more.
DARN IT EA, WHY DO YOU ONLY SEEM TO EXIST TO DESTROY THINGS THAT BRING ME JOY?!!!
"Secret beta tester" is essentially correct... though the game is actually still in alpha stage.
Okay, can't wait for the game to come out so you can tell me what it is.
Have fun! :)
There's more than one game I'm currently testing, actually... and it's already come out. I'll tell more shortly.
In fact, I already have!

Sounds like a twofold amercement....
The original Mega Man series is pretty good, but the Mega Man X series (with the exception of 6) is bootiful.
I managed to trigger the bonus stage with Gyro on DuckTales, a few minutes ago:
aaand I kicked Dracula Duck's ass. It was on normal difficulty, but I beat the game. Awesome!! Video coming very soon.
Video be here.
Oh, I've almost finished testing one of the video games I was working on earlier.
It should be ready for release in a day or two... the hour of its release looms before us.

Okay, I have never played any games in the series before and it always seemed like the type of of thing I would hate but I found The Sims 3 and two of it's expansion packs in Goodwill for $6, so in honor of Maxis going under I decided to give it a shot, good night this game is addictive!
I mean I sat down to play it and then the next time I looked up at the clock it was seven hours later and I have only just finished designing my Sim and his house. I think the last time this happened to me was back in 2007 when I played the first Mass Effect. I like RTSs, fast paced action games, and games with a story, this game should not be in my wheelhouse at all. Then again I do love Simcity and any game that gives me a lot of freedom with the game character, so maybe it shouldn't surprise me because this game delivers that in droves. Now that I think about it I did used to be addicted to Legos and these house design programs that came free with my family's first PC when I was a kid, so I guess that explains it as well.
You know if Mass Effect 3 hadn't ended the way it did I would totally buy at full retail price a version of the Sims where you could import your Shepard and the other characters from that game and control them as they live out their lives after the war. EA really missed out on a great sin off/crossover game there.
I can't believe how much fun I am having with this game and I have only just started, plus I think it may be the last EA title for PC that didn't require to connect to the internet in some way to play it so that is good.
I just can't believe this game has got me hooked, I really can't.
Any opinions on the live action Legend of Zelda TV series coming our way?
Not a one.
Man you just better PRAY that the next time you ask a general question I don't notice it buddy!
None other than its probably not happening.
Has anyone else played DayZ? My wife and our friends seem to enjoy it. I still can't get past it being all the things I don't like about Minecraft.

It was confirmed as rumors and Nintendo have no plans to do any such thing.
I say "Hooray!" and "Booo!" at the same time.
EDIT-Looks like Tobar already cleared that up.
I don't recall ever being captured by bandits and being given a blood transfusion by force as a means of execution in Minecraft. =P
True story by the way, luckily it just so happened that I was compatible with the blood and survived. They were very disappointed and ended up leaving with all of my stuff and spared me. That was in the first 20 minutes of ever having played.
Well yeah. But that requires running into other people. Which we deliberately tried to do last night and failed completely. The main game is staying alive, which isn't the game I want to play. I need goals.Tobar said:

If you want to run into others, just head straight to the airfield. Pretty much guaranteed to get your head sniped off. =P
I'm glad it isn't happening. While the idea of a zelda tv show is exciting and intriguing, it presents alot of problems.
1)Link has no personality whatsoever in the games other than what you gave him. Alot of people would be disappointed at the personality netflix gave him since it would be different than what they always pictured.
2)It might cause future zelda games to try to conform to the tv show in terms of story arc, and that'd be bad. I like my zelda games huge and mystical thank you!
3)If it sucks it might hamper future zelda games.
Wow, ESA, MPAA, and RIAA being overly protective of their work, wanting to see "hackers" hanged so they can never be destroyed...
...this does not surprise me in the least.

What's funny is that our friends decided we needed to finally run into people, so we went to high population server and went to the airfield. They were sneaking around so scared, so I finally just sprinted out of the woods screaming and shooting my gun into the air. Nothing. No one.Tobar said:
