Trying to screen-grab the image within Media Player

Always get a blank area where the trailer is playing. What am I doing wrong?

You cannot grab the DirectShow video overlay using alt+print screen (at least, you can't for ATI graphics cards).

Try one of these methods:
- turn off hardware acceleration in the video card drivers.
- use another media player that allows you to take snapshots
- load into VirtualDub and save desired frame as image
