The Force Awakens is the only one I'm looking forward to. While I couldn't care more or less for the rest of the other films, Jurassic Hurl looks like a complete and utter joke and Terminator Syphilis looks like a literal abomination spawned from the disease-ridden, bloody froth of Azathoth's ruptured ******* *****.

That's why it looks awesome. Like all the best bits of Short Circuit 1/2 and Robocop rolled into one. With the bonus of Bloomkamp's gritty real-world aethetic.

Being a rip-off of Short Circuit didn't stop Wall-E being a great movie.

Looking forward to Chappie, Jurassic World, Tomorrowland, and I suppose that new Star Trek flick.

Not sure about the others. Surely there will be some clunkers and some pleasant surprises.

Going to see Terminator Genysis but I'm not entirely sure it won't be shit.

  • Definitely looking forward to Chappie
  • Unsure if Jurassic will be good
  • Hoping beyond reason that Trek is good
  • Pretty sure TFA will be good but a little too rehashy
  • Unsurprised the reviews said Jupiter was awful

To be clear, there is no new Star Trek film this year. I was making a joke.

Is that 2016 then?
Yes.

Jupiter Ascending is worth seeing. I thought it had some cool ideas.

Ex Machina is one of the best things I've seen this year, and it made me look forward even more to seeing Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson in The Force Awakens.

I'm with KatherineJonathon, your post was utterly fantastic, David. But also unique and informative. I think they must be trying to recruit you as an essay writer.

I agree, though. Ex Machina was an excellent film and I'm optimistic for at least two of the TFA stars that I wasn't very familiar with.

I loved that film. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend getting it.

I also loved "Ex Machina" and I enjoyed "Jurassic World". "Terminator: Genisys" and "Jupiter Ascending" were dog shit.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.
