Can’t wait for the Rey nobody version so I can avoid the troubling implications of Palpatine having children, clone or otherwise. 🙂

If they’d just jumpstart “Underworld”, we could have Palpatine getting his heart broken by some crime boss lady and get around all the clone shenanigans… maybe some day 😩

Very cool idea! Doesn’t look much different though so personally I don’t think I’d bother putting him in. Also not sure what’s up with the colors in that lol

Is it too late to make a quick suggestion? I did this with one of my fanedits and it enhanced things. I think it’d be cool to have Rey’s voice echo or reverb whatever the term is as she does the I am iron-girl bit. Might actually work and be similar to palp’s voice change in RotS as all the sith speak through him. Like “And I… am [all the jedi]” My best comparison is to how Galadrial sounds when she’s turned crazy by the ring in Lotr. Guess it’s better to show you what I’m talking about tho…
If it’s already been suggested before then oops, sorry, but wanted to try just in case.

Nice idea. But no offence meant, I think the effect here is a little too strong, enough so that it obscures the line a bit. Subtler might be better.

Could we put this short shot from the ILM video just before the close up shot of the falcon?
I think it helps show how massive the fleet is.

Not sure if Cinefy means this very same piece, but apparently this pursuit theme is considered by some people as Finn’s motif in TFA:

Maybe it was a discarded theme that Williams established but didn’t revisit, like the First Order theme.

Umm, that’s actually Poe’s theme. It appears throughout the trilogy whenever Poe is doing heroic stuff.

Oh, that’s Poe Dameron’s theme.
The Battlefront II thing is probably because Poe’s already represented by the March of the Resistance in the game.

It’s been a tough morning.
My 2011 MacBook Pro will not power on. It hasn’t all morning. I’ve tried everything I can find to do online, but it looks like their’s a fair chance it’s just totally shot.
Everything relevant to this project is stored on external drives, so I’m not super concerned with losing it.
The potentially showstopping problem, though, is that everything is within FCP7, software that will not run on versions of MacOS more recent than 10.12 Sierra, initially released four years ago.
If my old machine will not power up, and I simply cannot afford to get a new computer at all right now, I will not be able to finish this or even export what I’ve already gotten together without a Macintosh computer that can run 10.12 Sierra. And even then I’m not 100% confident FCP7 will even install at this point.
If the computer does manage to boot back up, the first order of business will be to export the current state of the project as ProRes video and lossless audio stems.
