Idir, I will say that that is the best (audio at least) of the broadcast I’ve heard. The new lines are sublime.
There’s just… nowhere to put this, is there? I like that you tie it into Luke and events of the last two movies like Palpatine is moving along a plan in retrospect.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
I’m not a fan of the Fornite broadcast. But Movies Remastered placed it pretty effectively at the end when the Resistance listens to the radio. If I were going to add this to an edit (which I’m definitely not) I’d cut Palpatine’s lines down a bit and use some of the one’s idir picked but place the broadcast in the spot MR did.

I never really liked the Palpatine broadcast, but I do like the idea of the message the spy gave Poe and Finn be a broadcast that was specifically meant for the First Order. If they all actually heard his voice, I can understand why they didn’t doubt the authenticity of the information.
As the film is now, Poe feels like a leaker telling fans the plot of the film.

But like kraus said, I think it could also work as a replacement for Beaumont translating the Sith-language transmission. Because WHY are they transmitting a broadcast in a language that no one can understand?
If you still wanted to reduce the blue on Luke’s force ghost, I’ve been working on toning it down with a lot of masks. Here’s a rough cut that still needs a lot of adjustments

Yeah, those lines are gone, Muffy. It sounds good as it is, and I don’t think it’s needed to add reverb. Yoda sure didn’t have any in TLJ and the center channel is not totally free of music and ambience anyway.
I originally thought a deleted scene of the broadcast could be interspersed with the reveal of the fleet, but I don’t think the right resources are there to make it work. And it’s pretty much ONLY the added lines from idir that make it worthwhile anyway.

Lol, I’m pretty sure they say in the Visual Dictionary he speaks Sith. It sounds like Sith. Even more reason to replace it with Palpatine’s broadcast, even if it wasn’t the whole thing.
I wish there was a way to imply Poe was sending his speech as a message with Chewie and Han to broadcast to the Core Worlds. So that way, Poe plays a crucial leadership role by countering Palpatine’s message of fear with a message of hope. So it is Poe that pushes the galaxy to stand together, rather than Lando just being Lando. Maybe we could R2 recording Poe during his speech, then see R2 plugged up to the Falcon during the montage? Not really sure.

Random thought: To try to help imply the Sith Fleet are old Imperial Star Destroyers, perhaps you could have Palpatine say, “The might of the Empire will soon be ready, if you do as I ask” rather than referring to it as the “Final Order”. I think calling it by a new name, The Final Order, implies that this is a new fleet, while we want to imply that this is an old one.
EDIT: Furthermore, you could change Palpatine’s line from “A new Empire” to “A new Order”. Since Kylo said he wanted to “bring a new order to the galaxy” in TLJ, if Palpatine more clearly offers to give him his want from the previous movie, it may increase Kylo’s motivation to go along with Palpatine’s plan. That’s if shifting the words around sounds alright, though.

As for using Palpy’s message. I really don’t see the usefulness of it. There’s nowhere to put it in Hal’s cut, and even if it was included, I agree with him when he says it would seem a little too on the nose and ‘fan-edity’.
