But those voices are pretty similar, so I think it would be possible to use at least couple of words and incorporate them in sentences where needed (so that no one could tell the difference).

Especially if you go with the Hologram idea mentioned earlier

Especially then!
It's good enough that I thought it was him, lol.

I don't know. He lurks the boards here once in a while, maybe he could chime in.

He should. It looks like the guy has some talent.
I notice Qui-Gon has joined the soundboards.
Last year I was trying and failing miserably to separate the music from some of these sound clips so it may come in handy.
is there a way to get the sound files from the soundboards? im sure someone mentioned it.
^It is discussed around here ben.
Ben, if you use Safari (apple's web browser also for PC's) go to 'Window', then down to 'Activity' this will open a list of all the active material on that web page eg: the images as png's any flash videos running and a list of all the soundboards on that page listed as mp3's, all you have to do is on an apple is hold down the cmd button and double click the mouse and each file will download to your specified download area, i've downloaded things like these for my son in his pc using this technique with safari but cant remember which button to hold down whilst double clicking the mouse (fn..ctrl...alt...one of them)
Give it a go Safari is free from the Apple web-site

aha. thanks jaitea, ill give that a go.
and thanks for the link too mr wings!
Wouldn't it have been cool if the most iconic ship in the OT had've been in the prequels.......as an earlier version, without those 'special modifications'..........not just a stripey paint paint job (that we did get if you used a magnifying glass in AOTC & ROTS)

Don't you have your own thread for that?
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Please stop..... Good grief..... Just stop. A 4 year old could have done that. Seriously......Stop.
As long as fishmanlee is doing his own thing and not claiming credit for (or using against their express request to stop) the work of others, I'm glad to see him still trying.
He may stumble on a really workable idea by accident and may also prove that an idea that sounds good on paper doesn't work so well in practice.
Sometimes even the most derided people on here can prove to be helpful in unexpected ways.
You know, I hear ya... But let's be honest here..... He's simply roping people in so he gets more hits on his youtube videos.... That's it... I would agree if it were anyone else, but he has always been "fishing" for more hits. That's it.. I mean, you say he's trying, but how? What did he do? He just slapped music over video. There was nothing to this.... That tells me he just wanted people to click the link, and that's it. Sad to say I did so myself.
But what harm does that do?
Fishy's Youtube hits are only a problem when he has ripped off somebody else's work when they have repeatedly asked him to stop.
It may be a counting game for him (like measuring one's popularity by the number of Facebook friends or Christmas cards one may receive) but it may have an unexpected positive outcome.
He may slap a bit of music on a video that nobody else has ever thought of using and someone may find a way of successfully getting around the obvious obstacles preventing most score replacement and get a better scene out something born of his scatter gun approach.
Does he need to post it here? He's got his own thread and anyone who is interested in his approach can look there.
Frink, isn't this thread for everyone?
Yes, but you don't see Bob Garcia posting stuff about his ROTS edit here (as an example), because he's got his own thread for that.
Yeah but it's the Prequel Radical Redux thread, replacing some of the PT scores with OT music is a radical redux idea so it's on topic and might possibly help.
If he posted the reverse in this thread it wouldn't work.
If he posted an enormous bulk of this sort of thing pushing other ideas out it may be a problem but it's just a trickle.
I often post ideas on more than one thread because they sort of fit more than one place.
If I am to joking slap down his put downs of other people's mock-ups it would be remiss of me to slap him down when he is posting his thang sort of on topic.

I think that's a bit different because you don't have a thread dedicated to your ideas. However, I'm well aware that I'm the one way off-topic and dragging this out so I'll stop now.
