There’s nothing cool about the Dragon Ball Universe.

…People transform into giant fucking apes in DB. If that’s not cool then I don’t know what is.

Shit is boring.

In general the show is boring but the giant apes thing is awesome. Anyone who disagrees clearly doesn’t like giant apes as much as they should.

Giant apes are fine, it’s the “people transforming into them” that’s stupid.

Why? I’m pretty sure you’re fine with people transforming into other things in general so why is this so much different? Especially when you’re already cool with the concepts of giant apes.

It’s an assumption. Depending on the genre most people are okay with something/one undergoing a transformation if it’s executed right. It’s easy to now assume you’re not one of these people.

Why is this still happening?

  1. Spammers/trolls remain unpunished

  2. The ignore feature hasn’t been brought back

I need the latter to go into effect because I literally have no sense of self control.

Sorry I brought this off tangent. Though, I tried to veer it back on track… Epic Fail!

Guess this will do for an introduction, but I’m not sure what this really means any more. Star Wars in a way has been my number one interest for probably 20-plus years. We used to read the old Technical Journal book and play Dark Forces II. I had the Empire soundtrack on a copied cassette tape. I had my favourite minor alien characters in action figure form. But Star Wars isn’t what it used to be, and after growing out of the phase in which The Phantom Menace was an acceptable movie to watch things get hazy.

Those original three films are still fresh in my mind of course, and I don’t have to watch the GOUT anymore, thank the maker. But these days it’s becoming a bigger franchise than I care for; perhaps it’s age but the latest instalments are merely passable. People say you’re not a fan for this. But then again people like Revenge of the Sith. What does being a Star Wars fan mean? I don’t know. I’m a fan of Star Wars, it was an indy film that came out in the late 1970s.

Spammers and trolls are responsible for a long discussion about transforming apes?

So that’s what me and impscum were arguing about? I thought we were arguing about pizza rolls and pizza roll memorabilia.

Lol, I’m a troll now? I don’t mind the concept of people transforming into other beings in a sort of general sense, but humans transforming into animals of exaggerated size is just dumb IMO, and not the kind of dumb I like.

I think he just mixed up which thread he was in at the moment he posted that. It was a completely different off-topic discussion.

Holy shit I meant this for Impscum in a completely different thread. I am so sorry lol

Trolls eating spam?
Anime is shit boring to me now and has been for well over a decade. IDGAF.

At least I got mad money for selling the majority of my Star Wars merchandise. Some of the figures and books still aren’t sold. Dunno if there’s still demand for it.
Say the OUT/OOT is finally released on BD/UHD in a full-blown faithful to the source 4K remaster. No, I wouldn’t even care to own it. Does that still make me a Star Wars fan to be apathetic about buying anything Star Wars anymore except to see it in cinemas? Does it still make me a fan to want to rent said discs and then return them?
Hell, I really enjoyed TFA and Rogue One. Especially the fact we’re getting more Star Wars movies and I’m way past being one of those fans of "They’re ruining it!"
Though I would enjoy a Star Wars Story movie which took place thousands of years prior to TPM which would be an anthology similar to Twilight Zone: The Movie and Creepshow.
