Anagram thread. Very Similar to the Parroty Thread i guess, but this would have to be an anagram of the thread title, not just a sounds-like type thing.
I think i would allow adding or removing punctuation and symbols for free, but the letters all would need to be there.

a “Public Message” thread.
you know, for when you need to message someone, but it doesn’t need to be private, or when you think the other user isn’t going to notice the little private message indicator. I also fully suspect that this would be used for snark at times, which is a bonus.
bonus points in that it now makes makes the statement “check your PMs” ambiguous.
