Rescoring a movie with a center channel that is not clean is probably one of the hardest things in fan edits aside from visual effects.

Maybe just add a shot like this with a slow zoom/ken burns effect? It may work…

New clip coming soon, still working on the TLJ portion haven’t touched TFA besides the ending. Current running time is 3hrs and 44 minuets. I’m pretty sure I can get this to just about 3 hours! I hope to have a very rough draft soon for a few people to test.

We just need a lighsaber replica, some grey robes and shoes, and a patch of grass. A quick shot of the saber hitting the grass and Luke starting to walk over it would be perfect.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

Alright I have a rough cut of the last jedi portion of the edit if anyone wants to test view it. I will be posting the cutlist for it soon. Almost every scene has some short changes like dialogue or shots cut out. Let me know if you would be willing to provide feedback.

Full running time for the last jedi portion is 1hr and 31 minutes. Cutting out a total of 1hr of footage. Currently typing up the full change list

CUT LIST FOR TLJ PORTION
Cut Poe joking with Hux at the beginning
Cut Finn/Rose side arc altogether including Maz
- Cut Luke tossing lightsaber over shoulder.
- Added Finn and Poe deleted scene
- Cut Poe/Holdo “fuel” This leaves Finn/Rose with the resistance.
- Cutting Finn/Rose arc thus of course also cutting DJ/Phasma.
- Cut all the porgs
- Added “Luke mourning Han” deleted scene
- Cut Ach-To nuns
- Cut Luke/Rey joke about “reaching out”
- Cut Finn joking about how the first order “hates that ship” in the Crait battle
- Cut Holdo/Leia joking about “may the force be with you” and just let Holdo say it.
- Cut Snoke laying on the floor
- Trimmed Kylo/rey vs guards
- Cut Finn trying to crash into the battering ram and Rose saving him. They are presumed to turn back with the other ships when Poe tells them to.
- Removed broom boy ending
- Removed Finn/Rose at the end to ensure continuity Thus had to remove Poe/Rey meeting
- Trimmed dialogue throughout the film
- Cut rey from nowhere joke
- Lots of small trims and shot removals.

I’d love to! Your cutlist looks great. Happy to see someone else didn’t like the “reach out” goof. Stupidest thing I’ve seen in a Star Wars film, and totally out of line for either Luke or Rey.
