Need some help with removing a character

I'm finishing off an edit of 28 Weeks Later, and I want to remove a silhouette from a clip. Simply put, I've tried to paint it out to no avail.

That clip is too dark. I can't see what's going on in it. If you post the original uncompressed clip, I'll see what I can do.

That scene was filmed day-for-night and is how it looks in the original. Sorry about that!
