I would help seed to but, every single time I re rip my DVD's to re seed them, they never fully hash up, ever, and I am the one that put them there to begin with LOL, makes no sense at all.
All three seeders are connectable, so the problem is at your local level. Try reading up some torrent FAQs and making sure your firewall/router are configured correctly.

As per your suggestion AvP, I'm now using uTorrent. uTorrent detects the seeders but isn't downloading any data yet. However, the whole reason I first tried using BitTorrent instead was that uTorrent always gave me fragmented files even when it was completed. The problem only came up after an update, and even though I changed to pre-allocate files, it wouldnt work. Do any of you have this problem?
Anyway, it is strange since I'm successfully downloading other MySpleen torrents fine on BitTorrent...
However, thanks for seeding! Hopefully I can fix the problem on my end.
EDIT: All right. uTorrent is now giving me data. I'm at 17.8% and downloading at a low but consistent speed of about 4 kb/s. BitTorrent still doesn't work, and I'm hoping that uTorrent won't have the "fragmented files" problem...
Hey everyone, sorry for double-posting but just want to thank Moth3r and anyone else who seeded the Evil Dead II Treasures Disc 1... It all worked out and uTorrent successfully downloaded all of it without the fragmented files program. I'm now seeding it.
I will start downloading amd afterwards seeding tonight. Seems awesome!
The Evil Dead "1" Treasures aren't seeded anymore. There is an 841 day old version on Usenet, I suppose that's not the latest version?

I have it, I uploaded it waaaay back then, like I said above, I can NEVER get these files to hash back up when I reseed, but I will give it a try and see on this one.

If you're just looking for Evil Dead I Treasures, then all the files are still up on rapidshare. PM me if you want the links.

That's V1.1 on Usenet; the one on myspleen (and tehparadox?) is V1.2. The only difference is in the DVD-ROM content, the video content is identical.

OK, I am seeding The Evil Dead - The Treasures Collection right now, so if anyone wants it, go get it now before I change my mind LOL.
Hi
I found the EDI Treasures DVD on a torrent site and I'm downloading it now.
Please can you tell me how I know what version I'm getting, and if its easy to update it?
thanks in advance guys
dukem
Which torrent site? The version on Myspleen is v1.2 - this is stated in the torrent description, and also in a txt file within the torrent.
Last I heard, the DVD-ROM folder was up to v1.8 and had grown so large it filled a dual-layer disc on it's own. I don't think this was ever uploaded; you should contact See No Evil if you're interested.

I found it over at Tracker 3:
tracker.zaerc.com
I can't wait to see it, I love the ED movies
It looks like that torrent is missing the DVD-ROM folder; it's probably the same as the one referred to back in this post.

Damn. thanks for the info moth3r, I'll try and get a hold of the dvd-rom somewhere else. I don't know how to register on that Myspleen site, theres nothing but a login page.
Send a PM to walkingdork; he will be able to invite you.

thanks Moth3r and walkingdork, theres some good stuff over there :)
Hi there, the "Book of the Dead" Fan-Made DVD has not been released yet as far as I know; it will probably be unveiled with a V2 of the Treasures Collection. I sent you a PM with rapidshare/megaupload links of DVDs you may be interested, including the first version of the Treasures Collection.
I do not know exactly where to find Sam Raimi's Super 8 Shorts, but there may be a DVD floating out there for those interested. I'll see if I can find one. As far as Josh Becker's Super 8 Shorts, those have been released officially and can be bought from Becker's website here.
I'm also a big Evil Dead fan, so if you're looking for anything or find something interesting, feel free to contact me.
Quite a fan of the EVIL DEAD series. Are there enough content from all these Treasures disc to be put onto a single layer Blu-ray disc? Should have it very extremely comprehensive if it is so.
I suppose that the content from all the Treasures discs (1DVD9 and 2DVD5s) can be fit onto a single BD-25; however, that would mean there would be a mix of Evil Dead 1 and 2 materials. Also, all the materials are in SD, so it's probably better just to have it as a DVD, so DVD players can upconvert it well. Someone may also need to make new menus.
SeeNoEvil is working on another Evil Dead disc, an improved version of his Treasures Collection, but is still far from completion; if comprehensive enough, that could probably be put on a Blu-Ray disc.
Nothing new here ? :)

Yeah a single comprehensive BD25 should be nice. Just re-encode as AVC, same bitrate as the DVDs, same aspect ratio/etc, audio better bitrates. Main menu as 1080p AVC and then choices for the different Treasures titles.
Would much rather have a series of BD25s compared to several crap DVD5s/9s. Have the Compilated Treasures be separate BD25s with all the DVD content on them. First BD25 Treasures should in fact be 2 DVD9 and one DVD5. Regular Blu-ray cover art, but I'd much rather use multi-disc cases compared to the regular 12mm spine. Or even 6mm spines.
DVD is dead for me, except the majority of prior releases of EVIL DEAD Trilogy, DOCTOR WHO Classic and some other UK TV shows in 576i.
I now have all 4 BD versions worth owning of AOD and it goes a long way to my recollection of other scenes on the LD the TV cut on the German BD has many alt takes
I did a comparison here : http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=7377061&postcount=232
The German disc bar the extras has the same encodes as the French disc
