Doh, nevermind.
I just posted to say "thank you" for all the hard work, and then to offer a very slight criticism, in that the third disc of the set, the "1980 album" edition is not really the 1980 album; the tracks aren't in the right order (they follow the movie order, not the soundtrack order), and a few are different lengths and names. I re-ordered the set and did a bit of tweaking (nothing fancy, just using audacity) to make it more in line with the original recording.
However, I wouldn't have been able to do even THAT without ABC's hard work.
I can post it if people are interested in that. Doesn't really need its own thread.
Well it looks like I'm late to the party on this one, and I guess A B C is now gone from the site.
Anyway, I have the previous "Audiophile" edition that was released, but would love to hear this one as well. There were a couple tracks I thought needed a little tweaking and would like to hear if they were.

Loving this release. I'm up way later than I intended but I can't stop listening. A couple things:
1. 10m2 "Luke Pursues the Captives" seems to end very abruptly with an artificial fadeout.
2. 11m1 "Through the Window" has a hard skip at 1:19.
Anyone else noticed these things? Is it possible I got an older version and these tracks have been fixed?

Dumb Newb question (and my first post) How do i get this new/improved version? More specifically, do I have to subscribe to this topic? Or, do I just request it (as I'm doing now). Of course, since this is my first post I have nothing in my PM Box.
PS: If I could get it in some kind of compressed format, that would be appreciated, since I have a slow internet connection (even FLAC would be good). (Notice how I knew better than to mention "mp3's"?)

I've listening to set 2 for some months now and I almost threw my 1997's SE CDs to the fire, since I dont' listen to them anymore cause this is SO MUCH BETTER. So I'd like to thanks ABC for his great effort and for giving us the best listening experience of all the galaxy.
Now I just need sets 1 & 3 to complete the collection xD

I am really curious, why do you guys always request all 3 sets? ABC fixed issues with each of the previous sets, hence the new version, so why the need for all 3? curious.

From what I understood reading the forum. The 3 sets I was asking for (THANKS NACHOS117!!!) are 3 different ways of grouping music from TESB, as ABC posted:

SET 2 - The Restored Original Score & Suites As Written For The Film
SET 3: The RSO album reconstructed & completed
I wasn't talking about any ANH or ROTJ.
