Could I have the link, too, please? I would really appreciate it :)

I´m no Jedi. I´m just a guy with a lightsaber and a few questions.

So, what's the definitive version?

I've listed through several while ABC was working on this and the latest I have is the 2012 Audiophile 2CD Edition. Is there a newer one? If there is, would someone be kind enough to provide a link?

Also, has anyone played creating proper tags for the different themes? 2010 AE doesn't have any tags and it's very time consuming to arrange and name each one.

Download mp3tag. It's free and easy to use.

Are links to the direct upload still available? If so, I'd love to have a listen myself ...

If someone could send me the direct links, I would be incredibly grateful

Could someone please send me a link too? Thanks!

The links that I have are all expired.  Is there a "fresher" batch?

hi, there. not a hit-and-run poster here.

i’m new to OT.com, but i’ve been a regular at fanedit.org for years. i’m working on a new fanedit: kurosawa’s The Hidden Fortress with a SW soundtrack and lightly modified subtitles, and i just learned of this audiophile project.

the imperial audiophile edition sounds like a fantastic endeavor. before i ask anyone to share, i’m going to read through the related threads to learn more about the project, which i hope i can use in my edit (and if i do, for which i’ll give due credit to A_B_C and others involved).

cheers!

fascinating thread. i can understand A B C’s initial frustration at the perceived lack of interest; that’s normal, it seems, for these types of projects. of course, once his project was released, it seems interest went “schproing.”

darthrush, thank you so much!

haven’t yet had a chance to DL, much less listen, but I’m eagerly looking forward to it and totally stoked by your generosity and time.

thanks again, darthrush! i thanked you over at FE as well, assuming that the darthrush registered on that site is also you. (perilous assumption, i know.)

and thanks to A B C for putting this project together. seems like a massive undertaking and a labor of love. hope he earned some telekinetic powers at the end of it all; otherwise there’s no justice in this universe. 😄

I love your Hidden Fortress project, ssj! That clip was awesome.
Keep us posted as you make progress please. I would be very interested to watch this.

thanks again, slart.

making excellent use of the imperial audiophile edition! used seven IAE tracks for my SUKAIWAKA FORTRESS edit. i find the IAE sounds especially better than the 1997 remastered release when the particular track is bass-leaning, such as “hyperspace,” “carbon freeze,” and “the asteroid field.”

thanks again to ABC and darthrush.

I just found this awesome sounding project. I searched, but I could not find any way to listen to this restoration.
Could any one share it with me?
