The Clone Wars Prequel Trilogy (* unfinished project *)

I’ve changed my plans, I may revisit a 3 in 1 edit eventually but at the moment I’m going to work on a VERY short trilogy of edits for the prequels and give them the feeling of Clone Wars story arcs.

Each movie will be about 1hr 15mins each and will cut back on alot of unnecessary stuff.

Episode I: In this edit it will remove Anakin (since he’s a 16 year old in Corusant being trained as a jedi). It will also remove Jar Jar… For obvious reasons. Alderaan (Naboo) is being invaded by the Federation led by Count Dooku and Obi Wan and Qui Gonn go to help the people of Alderaan. Meanwhile Chancellor Palpatine gets emergency powers and uses it to build an army.

Episode II: 5 years later… Obi Wan gets sent to Kamino to observe the new clone army that was ordered, however Obi Wan finds out that Boba Fett (Jango) is the model for the army and follows him to Geonosis (Or maybe Tantooine) where he descovers the Dooku is rebuilding the Federation ready for war. Meanwhile Anakin is assigned to protect her long time friend Padme on Alderaan and they form a romantic relationship. The rest of the movie plays out how it is but Anakin isn’t Obi Wan’s apprentice yet.

Episode III: 3 years later… The war is on a whole new scale, Count Dooku has captured Chancellor Palpatine and Obi Wan and Anakin are sent to rescue him, Anakin kills Dooku etc. Afterwards we see that Anakin and Padme are closer and she is pregnant with Anakin’s child. Throughout the movie we see Anakin slowly turn as he is becoming arrogant and jealous of the other jedi. Whilst being poked by Palptine to release his hidden aggression. The rest of the movie plays outs

Just curious, what happens to the Boba Fett/Geonosis story?

Young Boba will be cut completely. The only good thing about Young Boba was the last shot in the arena with him holding the helmet...

Jango Fett is now just called Boba.. or Fett and his role is exactly the same, but he just doesn't die on Geonosis.

This would however make Boba in the OT substantially older and the green armour could help him blend in better with his environment? I don't know, what do you think?

How do you plan to resolve the Republic looking kinda stupid using the Clones made off of Boba (who is working for Dooku in the theatrical)?

I think the easiest way to do things is to remove Kamino from the story and not make Boba the model for the clones. Whether Kamino will be in the prequels at all, I don't know.
