Tech Question: Video Capturing

I'm looking to do some captures (for conversion to DVD) of my own, and I currently have a GF4Ti card that has Vivo.

How acceptable is that for video captures? What do you all recommend (within reasonable costs)?

Assuming it comes with WDM drivers that allow full resolution captures, you should have no problems using that card with VirtualVCR (or the latest experimental version of VirtualDub).
