Its only Star Wars, both GOUT and 97 SE, that have been released so far.

And yes, how did they manage the detail? Crazy right?

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought that might be it, but wasn't sure as I received my copies in single movie cases/artwork, not the trilogy cases like you. So I wasn't sure if it was just a different case or if they actually finished the other two movies in record time.

Yeah, I can't imagine GOUT getting anymore detail squeezed out of it at this point. I haven't watched the 97 SE yet, perhaps later this month.

I was trying to make my way through them, but I cannot find any definitive information on access to the Dark Jedi version of the 97SE of ANH.

I don't have any knowledge about Myspleen.

Are there any working torrents out there?

To those that have these, how do the V3 DVD versions upscaled by a good Blu-Ray player compare to the 720p Blu-Ray versions?

What you need to understand is that the V3 DVDs used a very heavy anti-aliasing and anti-ringing method that destroyed a lot of detail, which in the Blu version is all kept intact while still applying anti-aliasing as well as enhancing what detail and color was in the GOUT.

V3 vs Blu is like night and day. No upscaling can save the V3. DJ has said it many times, the V3 isn't even worth being mentioned again. :)

If someone really wants a comparison to understand it, post some full res screenshots in png format of the V3 and I'll post the same from the Blu.

Does anyone know the proper way to burn the Blu-Ray on a Mac (I have an external burner)? I tried burning the BDMV and Certificate folders straight to a Blu-Ray using Finder but it won't play on my PS3

I'm pretty sure only ANH is on the spleen

 Burn an UDF Disc with the BDNV and certificate. Worked on my Mac.

I noticed, while resynchronizing my subtitles, that your GOUT upscale is one frame shorter than Harmy's Despecialized Edition, and yet you seem to have both used the same audio tracks, right? So, I wondered if some resynchronizing job was done or if one of the two releases went out of sync from this point at around frame number 144053 or 144054.

Actually, the below frame from your DeEd, Harmy, doesn't even appear in Team blu's upscale, so I'd say your DeEd is 1 frame longer. This frame is the very last of this shot.

I also noticed that on the DeEd, Hairy_Hen 5.1 mix is a tiny bit late compared to the Team Blu's release. But it's very tiny, less than a 1-frame difference. Let's say about 15 or 20 ms. Or maybe it's Team Blu's release that's a tiny bit too soon. That's negligible anyway. But maybe not so negligible from the point where there's this 1-frame difference.

Those 2 frames I posted in the comparison are the very last of this shot in both your releases. 1 frame later, you're already on the next shot. So, yes, this last frame that appears in the DeEd is missing in the GOUT Team Blu has used. It's not that they don't appear at the same time, it's simply not there in Team Blu's GOUT. That's why I'm concerned about possible sync issues with the audio tracks you both used.
