PREMISE
Rewatch “A new hope” with a more modern look. Locations, characters and soundtrack are more consistent with the other movies of the saga.

OVERALL CHANGES:

1. Complete color correction. I want it to be more in line with other movies (Rogue One’s Death Star, Mandalorian’s Tatooine, TFA’s Falcon) and to keep a consistent look in the whole saga as much as I can.
2. New music tracks from other movies and a couple from the Harry Potter movies.
3. Enhanced engines, lightsabers, etc.

COMPLETE CHANGELIST:

• New crawl. The Battle of Scarif, Coruscant, Palpatine and the Senate are mentioned.
• New atmosphere for Tatooine, inspired by the Mandalorian.
• Enhanced ships’ lasers.
• Added twin suns in a couple shots.

• Moved Luke mourning Ben to after the Tie fighters sequence.
• Added shot of the Falcon going to hyperspace, and Death Star establishing shot to introduce Tarkin/Vader

Do you plan on adding the Obi-Wan vs. Vader fan remaster (SC 38 Reimagined) to your edit?

At the moment… nope. 😄
I’m sorry, I quite enjoyed it, but it looks way too different. Maybe I will add one or two shots of Vader, but nothing from the actual duel.
I’m considering to have a whole different cut for the duel. If I manage to make it work, I’d like to have something similar to the “Return” cinematic trailer from The Old Republic.

Right now I quite like it, it looks less flat IMHO, so at least for now I’ll keep it.

It’s really oversaturated. You might want to turn the saturation down a little bit.

I still can’t consider it as bad… I find it more in line with the PT and ST.
Anyway, you guys are surely more expert than I am.
