2 questions actually, didnt think this really fit into the star wars preservation thread but hopefully someone that knows whats up will see it.

1) is there a program (preferably free, free trial is ok) that will allow me to normalize the audio in a movie file (.avi) without demux the audio and video and then remuxing them?

and the second is another program request

2) something that can join two ogm files. ive found (and have a few) that will join avi, mpg, and all that other good stuff, but havent been able to get one that ill join two ogm files. i downloaded an anime movie and its split into two cds...having a dvd burner i can fit it all on one disc, but was hoping to be able to join the two files together if possible

thanks

Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

Just a couple of ideas:

1. Goldwave is an audio editor that will load AVIs directly. Not sure if you can re-save the AVI after processing though, but might be worth a look.

2. VirtualDubMod will load OGM files; you may be able to load the first then select "append segment" to join the second to it (but I've not tried it, this option might only work for AVI files).

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Yep, that's 3PO's tap number from the Mark Hamill episode of The Muppet Show. I've got it on DVD.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

I thought that's what it was.

Is it Anthony Daniels there? He really needed the money back then, eh?

Well, the residuals from Star Wars hadn't started rolling in yet, and it may have been part of his promotional contract.

PS: Gonzo kicked some major-Vader butt on that episode... one of my favorite comic reveals of all time!

That's right. Luke was in his ESB Bespin garb for this role.
