lol I'm Ricardo's girlfriend and I just have been told about the drama on here and had been keeping up with it because it is better than girly gossip and then when I decide to post my opinion on what is obvious the thread got locked and now I'm a dude. Hilarious!

The question is if you are your own person or Ricardo posting as another person.  There doesn't seem to be much reason for Ricardo to make a sock (other than a chance to call himself brilliant,lol) so I'll buy that you are not a sock but in fact his girlfriend.

Having said that, your first post was pretty rude.

And off-topic is home for all sorts of crazy weirdness.  Best bet is to just roll with it.

Ah, so 'Nebula' wasn't a 'sock' account then, just someone new after all.

'Angel' would be right to be miffed about that mix-up, so I hope he'll take it in his stride.

I remember however when Mr Ghostface and Darth Venal were initially speculated to be duplicate accounts Moth3r retracted that proposition even though they had the same IP address and were posting similar 'thoughts' and appeared on the forum on the same day within the same hour.

There are vectors that can produce confusing IP information.

My external IP reads that I'm posting in Glasgow because my provider's server is there and I could share my internal IP address with a lot of different homes and presumably businesses too because of the way the paths are allocated. The IP is also registered in Amsterdam to a Berkshire company.

As I recall Venal and Ghostface were both 'working in the industry' in the same room on the same Harry Potter film.

Venal sadly went more OTT than usual and got himself banned but Mr Ghostface is still around.

I assume that Nebula would have to be in the same part of the world as Angel (he is Greek but may be on holiday).

Nebula could be using a proxy service but the chances of two people on the same forum generating the same IP via a proxy are as far as I know nil.

I'm not aware of any history between doubleofive and Angel.

I know there has been friction between Ady and Angel.

We aren't supposed to make personal attacks in the on-topic section (it's now largely ignored here) which is why I suggested Nebula moved his comments here so people who didn't want to read what he was burping could ignore him and the ESB:R thread wouldn't get swamped by the drivel he was injecting there.

Is calling someone an oral lubricator of the undercarriage regions of Adywan sufficient enough to maintain a ban regardless of the IP thing?
