Well - I just got the "Original Theatrical" Pre-ANH DVD in the mail today and I should have it up before the weekend (MAYBE) - I do need to make a NFO so IF anyone wants to help contribute to the creation of the NFO for this DVD PLEASE email me or PM me with ANY and ALL relevent information as I do believe that CREDIT is ALWAYS due when we can credit the creators or original uploaders of these films!

Though, unfortunately, I prolly won't have the bandwidth to get it for about a week as I'm currently downloading another DVD (Sailor Moon musical) to encode to AVI and torrent...

All I know is it was a +R. I assume it was just burned normally. My drive, however, reads +R just fine.

Torrents are ah flyin'!

It took me over two weeks of going back and forth to my brother-in-law's house to download the Wookie-Groomer split-screen DVD. Looks like I am going to be busy over there for the naxt few weeks.

Simon's idea of co-seeding is a good one, and it seemed to work well with the ADM ROTJ edit.
Rikter could seed at a modest rate (and still use his phone) and let somebody else do the heavy lifting.

However I'd vote NO to Row47 torrents and here's why.
First, I don't mean to diss Rowman's efforts -- he's definitely one of the good guys.
But the Row47 changes are minor, and the new TR47 set sounds like it's not far off the horizon.
I'm afraid to wear out our welcome @MySpleen among its members who aren't SW fans.
Already I've seen a few grumblings over there after the suprn*va witch-hunt went down.
Torrent only the stuff that's new and different.
Seed it all on a.b.sw (even though I don't have a usenet feed )

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

I hear you MeBe, I'm not a big fan of torrents myself; if it takes me 14 hours to download a DVDR from a torrent site, I have to upload for at least 80 hours to get my ratio back up to 1!

MBJ is right -- I'm not endorsing that either.
When I wrote "Torrent only the stuff that's new and different" I still mean OOT !
I just think Row47 is so similar to TR47 that I'd rather you torrent other STAR WARS stuff first.
Just my opinion, but after all you did ask....

If you WANT to take a break, you're entitled to one, just like Laserman.
If you want to torrent Row47, then I'LL take a break. No big deal.

But please don't stop altogether ... else I might have a lynch mob on my a**

I disagree, I would be more interested in Rowman's version as he has sorted out all the glitches in the TR47 version

Never FRET!

I will still be posting the STAR WARS: The "Theatrical" Version V.1 (AKA - the pre-anh) I hope this weekend.

- I know that MagnoliaFan was going to finish up doing one his Pre-ANH recreation (I know that Magfan is VERY busy with other film projects at this time and I'm very sure this is why he's only popped in from time to time - Mag if your reading > I hope all is well!!) as I have the Proto-type with what I'm sure is the correct audio; I will look it over tonight to be sure.

I will then take a SW break and post my "Batman" torrents

Ironically Lucas is responsible for "Lavergne and Shirley", he made America Graffiti which was the inspiration for "Happy Days" and "Lavergne and Shirley" was an offshoot series from "Happy Days"...actually "Mork from Ork" and "Joanie Loves Chachi" were also related spinoffs. They all eventually jumped the shark.

Allrriiiggghhhtttt!!!! We've got the Laverne & Shirley devotees out in force. Now we can concentrate on the most important torrent of all.
