Seriously? That alone raises a red flag. Unless somebody can convince me otherwise, that link should be removed.

I figured it wasn't safe. That's the reason I've avoided a few other similar sites in search of Rebels, but it seems so common that I was no longer sure that it was as risky as it seemed.

Well, you shouldn't need a credit card if you click on the correct link, but it's definetely not a 'legit' site.

That's all I needed to know. Disney ought to make episodes a little easier to watch online. (Weren't TCW episodes put up on the official site?) XD is treated like a premium channel by more than a few cable providers.

Perhaps season 1 will hit Netflix once season 2 begins to air.

On that note, from what I've read recently, the season 2 premiere will be shown at Celebration next month. Do we know if it's just excessively in advance or is it only a short wait until the actual season begins?

The season finale was grand! I can't wait how Season 2 is going to play out! Really hope the show lasts for a good while.

Shucks! And all this time I thought it was Cesar Romero!

I don't get it, they've routinely posted episodes online anywhere from a day to a week early, but for this it's a day late?

As for this, they announced last week when they released the Rebel Recon that the streaming version would be delayed until after broadcast so as not to spoil a bunch of people like what happened to poor SilverWook.

Speaking of which, here's the complete list of Rebel Recons for each episode:

  1. Inside Spark of Rebellion
  2. Inside Droids in Distress
  3. Inside Fighter Flight
  4. Inside Rise of the Old Masters
  5. Inside Breaking Ranks
  6. Inside Out of Darkness
  7. Inside Empire Day
  8. Inside Gather Forces
  9. Inside Path of the Jedi
  10. Inside Idiot's Array
  11. Inside Vision of Hope
  12. Inside Call to Action
  13. Inside Rebel Resolve
  14. Inside Fire Across the Galaxy

Make sure you've seen the episode in question as they don't hold back on spoilers.

He mostly wears it for public appearances. He thinks when he takes it off at conventions that he can disappear into the crowd. =P

Well worth the read interview with Dave Filoni.

Best quote:

Filoni: "Season 1 is like A New Hope. Season 2 becomes more like Empire Strikes Back for our heroes. They’re starting to pass through this new part of their journey and things become ratcheted up, more exciting, more adventure; but darker, more dangerous like you would expect."

The one directed by Filoni and written by Kinberg was the most prequel like of all the episodes.

That or it was a bizarre mixture of prequel, oot and McQuarrie.

I know Filoni enjoys all these throwbacks to clone wars and the Lucas prequels but i don't appreciate them in what is supposedly an original trilogy style series.

I can't talk about the worst visual elements and story without spoiling the plot nor can i say what i liked without spoiling it.

I liked that it erased Force Unleashed.

Interesting that they held the last episode of the season and did not let it be on demand early. It had to air first because of spoilers.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.

I squeaked with delight at Fulcrum's big reveal. I'm man enough to admit it. Squeaked

I watched the first two episodes last night, and I was bored out of skull with both. There was absolutely nothing there that captured my interest; I was drunk, and even that didn't help.

Perhaps I'm jumping the ship too early, but I don't feel like watching anymore episodes. Even in its first couple episodes, TCW had something there to draw me into it; all this has is OT nostalgia, and that simply isn't enough for me -- there has to be something of substance there to earn my continued attention, and I'm not seeing any.

I guess I'll wait to see if this show develops something to pique my interest in the future. Until that happens, I'll be leaving the rest of the series untouched.

Jumping ship waaaaay too early. Did you quit TCW after the movie with the lovable adventures of Stinky the Hutt? As with TCW, Rebels is a show that improves with each episode. At least make it to Rise of the Old Masters before heading for the escape pods.

I've seen the first eight episodes so far. Although it's often childish and there are small problems throughout, I'm enjoying it--perhaps more than the (almost) two seasons I've seen of TCW.

I hated the first episodes. I absolutely loved the last episodes.

The beginning of the show is very "childish", very "Disney". But after a few episodes, which are serving only one purpose - introducing the characters, the REAL story starts :)

I gotta say, I'm 5 episodes into the series, and I have been overly satisfied. While I'm not a fan of the art style, the sheer entertainment makes up for it.

I didn't think I would enjoy it, as I didn't care for what little I saw of the Clone Wars.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Alright, I've decided to stick with Rebels, at least 'til the end of the first season.

Having seen four more episodes, I'm still not really enjoying the stories or characters yet -- and the Inquisitor and his stupid spinning lightsaber both suck -- but I believe I can wade through seven more half-hour episodes before coming to a final decision regarding the show.
