Its Darth Solo's style to edit. Besides its too bloody late to edit that one as you've already quoted me.

Grrrrr....Angel!

Besides, I did an edit of the post out of spite ;-)

Anyone else care to explain the joke to me, without the enhanced visual tweeks ive just seen, out of curiosity, as space sluggs arnt even THAT big!!

Although the sarlac pit suddenly seems like a nice place to be....if i went in head first.

I hope Seth MacFarlane pinches at least some of my stuff.

Looks very good.  Might need to play with the speed a little though.  In some of the unaltered speeder flap shots elsewhere in the battle, the flaps seem to move a little faster.

There was also a continuity goof you made.  Right at the beginning during the exchange between Luke and Rogue Two, the flap closes while Rogue Two says his line, then when it cuts to Luke's "Set harpoons" line, the flap is open again.  Then the next shot - the tracking one behind both speeders - the flap is on Rogue 2 is closed.

My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

My deepest condolences Adywan, to you and your family.

Best wishes for regaining your spirit!

My aunt passed away 5 months ago and it was a relief for her and us that she walked the path in another dimension in a calm and peaceful way relatively quick without suffering at age 79. A stairway (to heaven) she would have chosen to walk that way.

* * *

It crossed my mind that in a way the Empire takes it tall as Leigh Brackett passed away when she had worked on the screenplay for the movie. Anyway, just a thought.

The german site Schnittberichte.com has published an article about TESB these days: http://www.schnittberichte.com/schnittbericht.php?ID=2005824

As Angel said this is only a proof of concept, but I'm not using that as a 'get out of jail free card', If you can play the clip frame by frame, which is hard in youtube (unless you download it) you can see that after Rogue Two says his line and it cuts back to Luke, the flap is actually closed and is opening again.

The next goof you say is between the speeder model from the side of Rogue Two to the tracking shot of behind, which I wasn't trying to demonstrate.

Something ive noticed navigating through the menus.

Vader in the menus is taller and his stance is more straight.

Plus there is a better definition of forms and detail between the stair section.

Who is the more aggressive?

Okay, since you're asking, I'd have to say I definately prefer the existing Vader stance at the top here, rather than the one in the 'menu' version below.

And as well as the subtly-different stance, I also prefer the existing 'composition' as it is too....where Vader is positioned further back on the right of the shot.  I also prefer the look and angles of the set details in the existing shot too, and the whole layout of this reveal just looks superior to me I have to say.

While some of the 'menu' elements are neat, this fast-zooming animated one is very different from the great build-up seen in the existing static shots in this scene.

Okayz.

Thanks to ady that passed one more new pic under our nose

here is the comparison :)

Good catch about this one being slipped onto the Facebook page vaderios.  It's great to see the shadowing on the Stardestroyer is now consistent with when it goes in-between the 2 SDs a little later.  The colouring and overall look of Adywan's latest shot is awesome.  Wow!  :)

And that was a neat 'mock-up' of the Snowspeeder flaps there Jaitea.  I'm hoping that Ady will add something along these lines too.

Well i was only for the stance and the taller version, i wasnt suggesting the changing of his position. The details tho is an other matter.

Yes, and for me, it's the lights on the SD that give it "life", if you will. (will you?) Seems to add an extra crispness to the scene.

Can Yoda be added to the shot where Luke falls after standing on his hands on Dagobah? It looks like Yoda is magically transported to a spot out of frame as he falls.

That's a little something I like to call The Force.

I have to agree with ImpFighter. For whatever reason, I think he looks more threatening. Can't put my finger on why, though. Also, sorry for your loss Adywan.
