Oh man, I'm tripping balls!
How the hell does that work? :O
Since Christmas was yesterday, I'll just pass on an all-encompassing "Happy Holidays" to everyone here!
Hope everyone has a safe and happy one with your families.
Ady, get better soon. I was kind of hoping for an X-mas surprise from you again this year, but illness will take that out certainly. Any plans for a new trailer? :)
O.T. or No T., baby!™

That would also open the door, allowing for Jango's voice to say as is and for Boba's to return to its original state.
Happy Holidays everyone!

the model's drawn poorly. try taking a black and white checker board and a paper or styrofoam cup and do this. it makes a lot more sense.

So what you're saying is that Ady could redub Boba the kid's voice with Boba's original EMPIRE voice, or would that just be a little too silly?

Why would you dub a kid with an adult's voice? Yes, I think that would be a little silly.
If he decides to keep the clone thing all Adywan has to do is change Jango's voice, and if he decides that boba is no longer a clone, than there is no problem anymore and no redubbing is necessary.
That's the simplest solution - just lose the line in AOTC about Boba being an unaltered clone...he's just Jango's son, end of story. He's a kid, his voice is going to change as he grows up anyway.
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.
My point precisely.

Ugh no, just remove little Boba from AOTC, remove Jango's name, and don't kill him off, and Jango = younger Boba.
In that case we would need to assume that "Fett" is a very long-lived alien. Might be a little hard to believe, but is an interesting idea.
Well, the movies are only, what, 25 years apart? He'd be getting on a bit (he looks 40ish in AOTC) but who knows how long people live in this universe anyway? I think it's a little implausible that someone in his profession wouldn't have been offed at some point in the meantime, but that just shows his badassitude.
I think the Star Wars: Reborn project was going to conflate the two characters, or was at least considering it. I think young Boba is mostly in his own shot, so it shouldn't be too hard to do.
Back to ESB:R discussion in 3...2...1...
In fact, Boba Fett's name isn't ever mentioned in ESB, so you wouldn't need to remove references to "Jango" to maintain continuity. Still, I'd be in favour of doing so — partly because he's cooler without his name mentioned, and because many including myself would rather not see Boba's name changed.

Exactly. Please do NOT change Boba Fett's name if this whole thing is done.
plus is name is said twice in ROTJ by han right before he turns and accidently the pole hits bobba fetts jet pack.

That's exactly what I was going for.

Unless Ady takes the suggestion of removing Boba from ROTJ altogether (which I really hope he does) - then his name is never said.

I hope he doesn't that changes the story and the story doesn't need to be changed at all.

How does it change the story? Boba Fett does NOTHING in ROTJ, except get accidentally killed in a completely ludicrous fashion.
Yeah, it really doesn't change the story whatsoever. We know how Han got to Jabba's; Fett brought him. Now he's off on some other bounty hunt. His appearance in ROTJ was nothing more than comic relief and Lucasfilm thinking 'hey, Fett has this big cult following, so we need more Fett!' To have him flying through the air screaming like a girl after being gently tapped by a blind man is awful!
So? Boba Fett doesnt even die. I do believe Luke should have finished him off but cutting him out would hurt the movie. He should be there to complete his role in the saga!

According to the EU, which plays absolutely no part in Adywan's edits.

Honestly, if I had my way, he'd be in ESB and NONE of the other films. Jango would be gone from AOTC, as well. His "role in the saga" is to be the bounty hunter that captures Han Solo. That's it. He never should have been involved with the Clone Wars at all, that's just convoluted fan service, exactly like his appearance in ROTJ - "Hey, people like this Fett guy, we should use him more!" when his character wasn't meant for that.
Boba has to come from somewhere big thats how be became the strongest bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Actually lucas himself said Boba survives in the ROTJ dvd.
