For some reason I totally forgot Empire ended that way. I remembered it being the last shot with Luke and Leia. I feel stupid!
I fell even more stupid because Empire is supposed to be my favorite.

Why did you keep “A News Corporation Company” in the 20th Century Fox logo? The current logo, as of 2013, doesn’t have it anymore.
Ady,
Thank you for your time and effort in bringing this edit to life. I’m fully aware of the amount of time it took to make it possible, and the hundreds or more of complaints from many of us over how long it was taking. All that is behind you and the grateful and ungrateful alike can happily watch it and be in awe.
Having now watched it, I can say how glad I am for avoiding the clips released over the last 4-5 years and just letting it all be new to me. Damnit I couldn’t be more impressed! Bravo on what you have achieved, and you have certainly raised the bar on what a fanedit can be. Return of the Jedi has a LOT to live up to, I would say!
Again, thank you. I look forward to the blu-ray special features!

Oh my god dude (@editroid… Who I just realized was not editdroid and now I don’t feel as bad for being annoyed)
Oh my god dude
It was just a question.

This is a time for celebration, not questions.
Never posted before but just wanted to say thank you Adywan and congratulations on a job well done!
Watched it tonight with my mother, who is also a big fan. We both loved it, of course, and she was amused to see my name in the credits. Haha.
Many thanks for another most impressive experience, Ady! 😃
I think the best part of watching this edit is not noticing the more subtle edits in my first viewing. they were so seemlessly integrated into the film! Awesome work as always. Enjoy your week off of Star Wars editing!

( SPOILERS )
Not sure if this was serious, but as someone checking the forum while still downloading the edit, this was unexpected and a little dismaying (not the fact that Adywan might have made the change you mentioned, but that you mentioned it like this without even 12 hours passing for people to watch the movie for themselves). Hoping it was a joke, and that something major was not ruined before my first viewing.
Thanks to everyone else who has posted their responses in a more community-friendly way – this day has been a long time coming for many of us, and it’s so much fun to see the enthusiasm and congratulations pouring in. I’m realizing I may need to stay away from the thread until I finish downloading and watching the movie, so that I can avoid being spoiled and people can discuss in as much detail as they want.
In the meantime, thank you again Adywan for all your hard work over the years!
Been following you since you started the “Revisited” series. I just want to thank you again and for all your hard work.
When is the DVD-5 version coming out?
Already have the MKV version but I’m just curious.
And I’ve loved every pixel of it.

Amazing work, Adywan! I never expected any less. Worth the wait!!! I don’t have any complaints other than that my name is spelled wrong in the credits, but it’s not a big deal.
Going to have a small get-together tomorrow to screen ESB:R. It’ll be great to see what changes people notice.
When will we get a list and gallery of the changes?
When will you give it a rest?
Fine. I will.

Brilliant work all around, Ady. My brother and I simply couldn’t get over how much better the Hoth battle is, to the point that the original battle looks like an animatic in comparison. Of course, the edits after this were also well done, but like most good effects they blend into the film and invisibly enhance the experience.
Now to watch it again…
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

He said he will do a DVD-5 alongside the MKV for now, while the DVD-9 version and the Blu-ray ISO will come later.
