Please. Everyone. Don’t give in to the urge. It’s going to be okay.
Sheesh i only made a slight typo on this. This time give me a break.
But “these models look badass awesome fine” doesn’t make sense either.

Two different people I believe.
i meant. these models look badass. awesome find
the ships with pink engines are for woman, but they don´t have enough woman pilots…
Even though it’s cannon I just wanna throw Pink 5 into the mix. And with regards to the X-Wings engines, I grew up thinking they look like the usage of disk breaks, as in coldish white, upto red optimised temp.
Canon.
Canon.
All of a sudden there’s a few issues been thrown up that I want to chip in to. But until I find time, this gif will have to do.
^I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.
What was Harrison Fords comment about the script for Star Wars being unreadable again?
More detail on the models
More details and pics of parts from manufacturer:
Typical, just after obtaining a Legacy big kingburger At-At, but it’s missing a few odds and sods. Don’t suppose the parts there listed I could modify. Doubting Daft Solo thinks the new one cannot be any bigger than what I’ve just got Doh!
Just about finished all the hair punching on the front and sides of the mask. A very tedious and time consuming task. Once all that is done i can fix the mask onto the inner skull, start styling and dirtying up the fur and add the frosting effect to it.
Oh hi grandpa, good to see you again after all these years.
Once again-great work!
I’ve a bit of time available now, so I’d like to go into a couple of things thrown up recently.
Firstly, things are looking great on the WAMPA front adywan! 😃
After your ‘amish’-looking shot a couple of pages back, I was really looking forward to the next preview as you get ever-closer to it’s final, finished form with darkened bags under it’s eyes, gnarly nose, and ice-covered fur…in a way that’s somewhat similar to the original puppet -
(Note: that top shot above seems to be reversed the wrong way round, however)
So thanks for your latest sneak peak at your progress.
However, I have a couple of queries I’d like to ask at this point -
Are you going for the same look, in the sense that the Wampa puppet’s horns are heavily covered by it’s hair fur? (as seen in this shot above)
Are you going to make one of it’s horns slightly BROKEN OFF at the end, just like it was on the puppet too? (we can just see it sticking out in the shot above, and personally I liked that little detail…and the makers had a broken horn on Luke’s TaunTaun too, which I liked also)
…and this is just a little observation, and not at all a biggie…but as the original puppet rises up initially (as seen in this shot above), it looks like it has no arms attached to it’s shoulders I reckon! However, when looking at the original filming puppet in the shot below, it does indeed look as if it has no arms attached -
…as I say, this is no biggie, and the initial ‘shoulders’ of the wampa are only seen momentarily onscreen at the start of the second shot of it roaring (as seen at 04:03 secs near the end of this video clip) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGsAxG0r9wQ
However, I just wanted to mention that because of how it looks in that shot…that I currently like to look on this mass of fur as being somewhat like a big furry ‘mane’ which kinda overlaps it’s arms which are somewhere below…in a somewhat similar fashion to the ‘mane’ seen on this pic of X-men’s ‘Sabretooth’ character. 😃 -
Lastly, whether you wish to show a bit more of your horns compared to the original puppet’s appearance, or not…if you DO end up going for something more like the look of this fella below, then it’s certainly still a HUGE step up from the ‘lunging’ wampa shot you’re intending to replace! -
Well that’s it on the ‘wampa’ front from me, but I’ll try and get a chance to comment on a couple of other little issues raised recently, over the next couple of days.
(and please, if anyone wishes to respond to ANY of this with a one line comment…please do so WITHOUT ‘quoting’ the whole of this post as well, thanks!) 😉

Tempted to quote the full post to say “oops.”

At least you’ve only thought about it.
Some just seem to repost a massive post regardless of what they want to say about it! 😉
Wampa Bellamy
Welcome to the Himalayas!
They told me they’d fixed it!
David Bellamy, now THERE’S a blast from the past! All those times when he used to appear in NZ commercials lol.
“Did you know, the word ‘gullible’ is not in the dictionary?! Look it up.”
About the X-wing engines : I remembered to watch for them the second time I saw Rogue One and on Eadu research planet when it’s quite dark they are red but on Scarif when it’s bright daylight they are pink. So I would hope that Adywan follows that logic, that way we can have it both ways and more people would be happy with the result. (Yes I like red more) =)

That does make sense.

That will be fixed in RO:R 😉
I kid.

They’re still pink during the Eadu attack
Could the pink color come from a red glow on a blue background or from a blue color grading? Such as a blue sky or the dark blue Eadu scene. Same thing that gives Darth Vader a pink saber in his duel with Luke.
I don’t really think this is the case though, pink seems to be canon. They’re pink in Battlefront too (look at images of the Rogue One VR mission).
red is the better pink…
Pink is the lesser red…
