Well Revisited is within its own canon as a 6 film saga. It isn’t meant to be viewed alongside the new films. It can’t possibly be made to fit in. As i have said before, if i wanted these films to perfectly match with whatever is coming up, then i wouldn’t even be able to start them until all of the films had been released. And people moan now about how long ESB is taking. Can you imagine what it would be like if i couldn’t start any of the other films until they had completely finished the episodic films? And who is to say they will stop at ep9?

So, it wouldn’t really matter if i did destroy the falcon and Lando along with it at the end of ROTJ 😉

I don’t care about your revisited edits fitting in with the ST, Adywan. I just don’t like the idea of Lando and the Falcon eating it. The OT is an awesome fairy tale with a happy ending. I’d like it to remain that way. Besides you always said you wouldn’t change the fundamental story of any of the OT films, this change would.

The PT is garbage and I certainly don’t like the story and direction the ST is already taking. All I’ve got left is the OT. Just let us have one trilogy, Adywan, that’s uplifting and the heroes live. Please.

You already have an OT where it’s uplifting and all the heroes do live.

What’s interesting about all this is when I first watched ROTJ, I strongly believed thats how the film was going to end.

Can’t say I had an issue with it.

I’m personally somebody who enjoys revisited for what it is and would love for it to fit in with the new movies.
But quite honestly, whatever Ady wants to do is fine by me. It’s his project and if I really have an issue with something he’s done, I can edit it out to have my personal version.

Whatever Ady does someone will adapt to fit with the new films or vice versa.

What if he decides to make Chewbacca pink for the entirety of ROTJ? Who will fix that?

I don’t know if any other UK members caught Sky Movies’ “Greatest Star Wars Moments”, but in that programme Anthony Daniels revealed a flub in ESB which I don’t recall mentioned on the forum before (and so don’t know if Adywan’s fixed for Revisited). But when Han and Leia’s kiss aboard the Falcon is interrupted by 3PO, who taps Han on the shoulder, a piece of 3PO’s hand falls off and can, in fact, be seen falling - a flash of gold appears near the bottom of Han’s jacket, right about when 3PO says the word “coupling” (roughly at the 1 minute 52 seconds mark of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMk0-pZfx5Q&t=1m52s).

Similar to Luke’s head popping back up after he jumps down to continue the duel with Vader, once seen it’s very hard to unsee! So I was just wondering if Adywan’s already aware of this, and whether or not it’s been fixed for Revisited.

I am secretly hoping that Ady has been working on ROTJ:R the whole time and both will be released.
