People call others by their title all the time. There's no problem there.

As Ripplin points out, there are plenty of possiblities, but nothing can beat an original painting by the editor himself.

It could be argued that Obi Wan is rubbing his former pupil's nose in it by constantly refering to his Sith title in much the same way Mace Windu does when he calls Palpatine "My Lord".

Can someone please clarify this for me? - on Adywan's 'ANH:R' page on the Fanedit.org site, it gives 'RapidShare' links for the following versions - Xvid AVI / PAL SL DVD / NTSC SL DVD / NTSC DL DVD / NTSC DVD-5 Purist Edition SL DVD.
What I'm unsure about is this - While I know that the NTSC DL DVD will be the one with all the 'extras', I didn't realise that there was also a something known as a NTSC SL DVD version (not to be confused with the Purist Edition NTSC SL DVD). Is this just an NTSC version of Adywan's 'extended' edit without any menus and 'extras'?
Also, I thought that the PAL version with 'extras' would be a PAL DL DVD, yet the 'RapidShare' links just mention a PAL SL DVD, with no mention of a PAL DL DVD. Again, is this PAL SL DVD that is mentioned, just a version of the 'extended' edit without any menus and 'extras', or have these links been written wrongly? Thanks for any help in clearing this up for me.
Check it out IF. The DLs have ALL of the extras, the SLs have a FEW of the extras and still have motion menus and stuff. The PURIST is the only one with no menus or anything bonus at all.
As for the PAL DL, I don't remember, since as you well know, I don't have to deal with the 4% speedup. But the PAL SL does have SOME extras and menus, just not all of them.
I tried to cover all of this on OT's FanEdits.com, but it looks like there have been some tweaks to them.

My, it's been some time since I've been around here.
First off, I must express my deepest apologies. When I got my DVD-5 copy of Revisited, I offered to PIF it, and I failed miserably in that regard. Getting it done wasn't as convenient as I had thought it would be, I was wrapping up high school and working on college stuff, and things just got ridiculous. I'm now ending my fourth week of college, and my editing activities are pretty much non-existent for the moment. So, I'm guessing that by now anyone who asked me for a copy has gotten theirs, but I am sorry for not following up on my offer, and in the future I will do my best to not make promises I can't keep.
On another note, congrats to adywan for getting this thing done! When I get the chance I'll have to get a hold of this (and do my part around here), but bigtime congratulations--and I'm liking what I've seen of ESB!

I must say…this IS THE ULTIMATE EDITION for me. It is so great, I really hope so, one day all the Star Wars fans around the world will be pleased for this great EDITION what makes the New Hope even better than it was in 1977. And the name ADYWAN never be forgotten…because you are such a great and talented man.

i've glanced through the thread and i cant seem to find what exactly the purest edition is. is it just Revisited without battle of the heroes? coz that'd be sweeet!

PURIST is Revisited with 3PO's line restored to "no escape for the Princess this time", Obi-Wan's scene unedited, the extended Death Star reveal and Death Star attack removed, and no prequel/sequel music. Everything else is the same, including Alderaan's explosion (which is from Stargate SG-1, actually).

You're thinking of the AVCHD versions Adywan's releasing, which are 1080p HD versions of the 04 SE, color corrected, minus Greedo shooting and Jabba in ANH and I think one or two alterations to ESB and ROTJ that I'm not clear on.
