You can't say rave w/o mentioning "Born Slippy" by Underworld.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

The Prodigy had some songs in Hackers, didn't they? If so, then they must be good, because I loved the music in Hackers.

Anyway, I'm more into a metalish kind of music, but I do immensely enjoy Machinae Supremacy, and Daft Punk is pretty good as well. Also, I don't really know if Paul Oakenfold counts as "rave", but his remixes sound pretty techno esqe, which is pretty close to rave, correct?

Yeah, there early stuff was true raving music, the later stuff was much more singles chart (Still good though).

War does not make one great.

Ooh - nice topic!

Charly was the track that started the demise of "rave" - in the UK anyway, it still lives on in Germany - after Charly, rave was all chart-orientated stuff featuring samples from Sesame Street or Rhubarb and Custard.

Here are some of my favourite early dance classics off the top of my head, I'm sure I could list loads more:
Gat Decor - Passion
Awesome 3 - Don't Go
The Age of Love - The Age of Love
Interactive - Forever Young
Love Decade - So Real
Starlight - Numero Uno
Liquid - Sweet Harmony
Artemisia - Bits 'n' Pieces
Tricky Disco - Tricky Disco
