No, the reason why was almost solely due to the infamous cheese allergy scene. I have always and still cannot stand almost any form of body horror/facial horror, especially things swelling up. It’s a universal no-no for movie viewings from me.

Also, please do not post any GIFs or photos of the scene as I have zero desire to see that again.

It’s a shame Klaus Kinski was cremated. If there’s anyone who deserves to have their grave desecrated, he’s a top contender.

Is wondering if the Alien Series will be postponed because of the writers and actors strike in Hollywood.

Indie films and shows are getting a waiver like The Chosen, which can keep filming despite the strikes.

Yeah, it’s been on the decline since the mass bannings a few years ago. I miss the old community (although people started becoming nasty to each other towards the end, which is a big part of what occasioned the bannings).

And I only stuck around here because I didn’t bother to make an account elsewhere. I think I only posted in a Star Wars related section like ONCE since at least 2019.

I honestly haven’t been a Star Wars fan since 2019. I even made a post about it back in 2018.

That’s true. There was a decline in Off Topic with the bans and the decline in the Star Wars discussion happened later. I’m definitely less personally invested in new releases than I used to be.

My passion for SW has ebbed. Couldn’t get into Andor. I will give Ahsoka a chance, and tune into The Acolyte. Gee that is a lot of A titles.
